I find this version in many ways better than the original - but time has progressed and the production methods have changed a lot.

This version is a lot more musical, warm + expressive than the original.

It really does "take you on a trip".

Makes sense to know the original though.

Very cool stuff! I have followed The Cure since 1978, and I know that while many of you don't like the song, it is very close stylistically to The Cure during their Drop Dead era. Just shows the diversity and talent of this rare band. If you liked this, you'll LOVE The Glove, psychedelia with Steve Severin of Siouxie and the Banshees...WOW!!!
