  • Pachelbel was a genius. My band teacher told me all about the works of Beethoven and Bach and Wolfgang, but never mention Bach. I think the aforementioned are terribly overrated, and Pachelbel underrated.

  • you are not crazy. the opening tune is almost the same as the twinkle little star. the difference is that the opening melody does not resolve in tonic. (I think here it's in F major. correct me if I'm wrong)
