  • CHICKEN WING !!!

  • you should help him out a little bit :P he got that little chicken wing going on, a few more years he will handle a gun like a true marksman, thumbs up to you :)

  • your videos remind me of when I first got into milsurp stuff, I would get strange looks when I showed up at the range with an SVT, Enfield or m14 that was as tall as I was

  • Nice gun,but your a faggot!

  • Can't do this in the UK :(

  • You guys have some awesome vids And where did u pick up the mauser

  • @85BIGGY believe it or not, a local gun store. The RC mausers are usually worn out from corrosive ammo and neglect. But I have seen sewer pipes that shoot as true as a clean barrel. RC's are around 230 bucks, Bringbacks around 500

  • towards the end of the war it was mostly little kids and old men fighting

  • Hahaha!!I have collected the same firearm!Your son is excellent pure exclellent!Andrei thought that he was the only one who did this!Who loves your videos!

  • tough kid

  • masterpiece

  • 1889 by Mauser Weapon Manufacturing Germany ;)

  • А парнишка - не промах, умеет владеть оружием. Respect!

  • i shot 1 yeaterday it shot through a rock

  • Kid has some cool parents!

  • beautiful gun ;)

  • It's great to see another young highpower shooter!

He can absorb that recoil like a pro!

    Good luck shooting!

  • just finished shooting my mauser. it's so much more fun shooting a mauser than shooting a 22. i wish the non-corrosive ammo was just as cheap and comes with more bullets. owell just going to have to learn how to reload the casings.

  • All you got to do is clean the rifle better with corrosive ammo. I just wash out the barrel with boiling water and soap then dry it off well. Then clean the bore better than I normally would with non-corrosive.

  • my rifle was a Russian capture too! yet It still has all of it's original markings. can't wait to go shooting tomaro.

  • Where was the Mauser made and what year?

  • Because it is a RC, the waffenamps have been pinged out and the assembly plant and date have been ground off. I have a 1940 mauser soldier bringback with matching bolt but have not researched the markings yet. We will post a video of it soon.

  • It's nice seeing the youth learning responsibility through shooting. He should join Boy scouts. I just got back from a shooting camp out

  • I'm 15 and love my Mauser. Exelant rifle

  • is this alan burkett because i think u r on my football team the williamsburg hornets midgets leuge

  • Why YES, it IS Alan. Tell your dad if you and him want to go shooting with us sometime we have a really nice collection of rifles. Talk to him at practice about it. Check out our other videos of us target shooting WW2 and WW1 rifles. Brian Burkett

  • Chicken winged it!

  • ik this is probably a lame question but i am curious as to which is more powerful. The M1-garand, mauser 98k, or the mosin nagant?

  • All of them are essentially .30 calibre. The Mosin FEELS like it's more powerful, because the stock is so light and it does not absorb recoil that well. The M1 Garand has a GREAT feel to it, the K98 is in between these 2.

  • how difference would the range and accuracy of a mosin nagant 91/30 be to a m38?

  • Theoretically the 91/30 is more accurate at longer range because of the length of rifling in the barrel. The 38 is a carbine so it is more useful in short range situations or where close quarter combat is abundant. But regardless, the rifling of the bore and crown distortion have HUGE effects on accuracy. My son loves his M44 though, but the rifling is sharp.

  • good handling for a kid his age!

  • how much for a 98k? $250?

  • some go for $100 depends on the condition of the rifle

  • its also called a "Hitler-Mauser" beacuse it was the main bolt action rifle in germany in the second world war, and it has the Nazi eagle mark on the gun 2 :P

  • I have never in 42 years heard it called a "Hitler Mauser". Yes it was their main battle rifle, since Hitle fought in WW1 with a Mauser, he felt it was good enough for his army as well. The "eagle mark" you talk about is called a Waffenamp, EVERY piece of german produced goods, carried a Waffenamp. The Russians peened them out with a punch and hammer.

  • can you wait till hes older? he looks stupid shooting that way.

  • No, why should I? just because you don't like it? You are an arrogant phuck.

  • you tell him pah!

  • haha agreed with you man.. he looks badass shooting that Kar98 im sure if i was his age u wouldnt see me doing it tell him to keep up the good work =]

great rifle love it.. aswell as my k98 .. like you the waffenamp so if i still have all mine on my k98 its not a russian capt then right?

  • lol the gun is about is tall as him haha cool gun! =)

  • Where do you get all these guns?! I want some! Lol.

  • There is a Class 3 dealer close to me that calls me when he has a WW2 rifle (or WW1) that might be interesting to me. he knows that I collect and shoot them. I have around 19 rifles now since I started collecting last year at this time.

  • Shut the heck up Alex!

  • kinda looks like a karabiner 98k never heard of a mauser 98k

  • They're the same thing. Peter Paul Mauser was the inventor of the 1898 action, which the Kar98k uses. It's like calling an M1911A1 a Colt .45, although Colt only manufactured it, J.M. Browning designed it.

  • Today there are a lot of other gun companies that make the 1911 model. Springfield and Kimber to name a couple.

  • Mauser is the manufacturer of the Kar 98k. It's the same rifle.

  • This kid is my hero.

  • Actually I am educated and I would appreciate it if you stop acting smart. I'm just saying my opinion and you seem to be arguing with it. And fine I'll stop commenting.

  • Guns are bad and its wrong to let a kid fire one!

  • No, it's not........to be uneducated is a bad thing. And you seem to be uneducated. Either stop posting your drivel or I will delete your posts and block you.

  • shut the fuck up

  • That's one tough 9 year old! Firing off hand with a full bore rifle......

I fired my first .303 when I was 13 and it scared me so much that I didn't attempt it again until I was about 17.

    Hard core.

  • lol that's funny i fired my first full bore round when I was 13 too.

It was my dads M1 Garand. Then I got a No.1 Mk.3 & loved it so much I got 2 more Enfields.

  • How old is he?!!

  • 9 at the time

  • dam man nice video but those guns are verry heavy for him

  • proud

  • Im pround of this of how he handles a firearm

  • it sounds like the m1 garand? wow,i have a kar98 sniper

  • Man how does he keep that gun steady? It looks as tall as him.

  • where did you get all of those guns? at gun shows?

  • Hitler jugend did it.... it sounds to me the kid is spoiled if he has his own garand...

  • Spoiled....no. He's a straight A student and this is a reward to go target shooting.

  • There's a difference between letting your son go shooting, & buying your son an array of expensive, antique guns all for himself.

  • He has a M1 Carbine, and a M1 Garand rifle that I refurbed. The rest are mine, but I call them "his" because he shoots them himself. He cleans them and racks them when finished. He knows that in the will, he will get them. I guess you don't think that I shoot them as well, right? You offended at something?

  • No, my bad, I just saw a comment on one of your videos you listed all these rare, & expensive guns you say it's "his".

I wasn't offended, I think it's great he has a taste for history, & me & my Dad have the same hobby as you & your son, I just wouldn't want to see him get hurt, but it seems he has good common sense, & wouldn't do anything stupid with his guns.

  • dude hes nine give him credit, hey osu how is his accuracy i mean is it good for a nine year old?

  • At first, he wasn't sure how to aim it because the ladder sight is set for 100M not yards. So he was shooting high all the time.

Once I got him to shoot lower and use a bench rest on the 100 yrd range hes really good. he just keeps fiddling with the sights, instead of leaving them alone. thnx for comment

  • That kid is a trooper. you should be very proud! mausers kill my shoulder and im a grown man. lol

  • What a slowest boy.I can shot 10 bullets in 5 seconds!

  • Good for you. He's nine. What are you,30? Bet he can speak English better than you though.

  • I assure you he's firing 8mm Mauser full loads, non-corrosive. Give him some credit unless you don't know what you are talking about. He shoots a 03 Springfield, a M1917 American Enfield and has his OWN Garand.

  • What make of ammo?

  • Soviet block mauser 8mm, Alot of these were captured by the Russians, and pressed into service

  • he haves the right to have it? at this age? if he does i have to have one too!!

  • lol mauser has a heck of a recoil this boy is using a fake or hes shoulder is metal

  • That is scary. In an extremely awesome way

  • He was holding gun wrong

  • Also his shooting position makes me wanna cry...but atleast he was holding it right side up hehe.

  • His arm is only so long for a 9 yr old. Cut him some slack.

  • Oh just a word of thought.... Next time make shore you make the sentence makes sense before you think your such a smart ass.

    "He was holding gun wrong"

    Noob!!!!

I cant wait to shoot mine. Mine is a Type 48 so its a bit different on the Iron sights.

    NNN1992

  • "Man, my shoulder's gonna be hurtin' tonight."

That line and the trouble shouldering the thing made me chuckle.
