This woman never had a drop of talent or vision. He got her reputation at Autodesk which grew quite a bit, but that was driven by the largest construction expansion in history. She took a nice salary at Yahoo where she is clueless and crude minded.

@TheEasyEntree Carol is accountable to her husband, as he's the one to whom she made her marriage vows. It is her duty to submit to his authority. Fortunately, he happens to be a Southern gentleman with traditional family values. He has made it very clear that she is not in charge at home, and she accepts this willingly. When he physically corrects her, through a spanking, he is only doing it for her own good.

It seems Carol is not in her comfort zone anymore when running a company that is internet based - the answers to questions such as "what is Yahoo?" is so fundamental to a CEO taking the helm...

compare that to what Steve did back in 1997 when he was given the reins again. he took a knife and slashed the fringe stuff that was more of a distraction and got the company to focus on fewer but better.

...from tis interview it is not clear what Carol's visions and tactical plan is for Yahoo.

Carol Bartz has no clue what Yahoo is or how to make it relevant again. Listening to her drone on is painful and clearly shows she is not leadership material. Yahoo needs a strong personality with a clear vision. Bartz has no clue much less vision. GET THE HOOK ! Get her off the stage. Short Yahoo to $7 from this interview alone.

Anyone else notice she has been on her best behavior since the Arrington incident about six months ago? I have a strong hunch that her husband took her to the woodshed for that one and the memory of it, plus a ton of reminders from him has helped her smarten up her act.
