since the 1960's Paul was apart of life with the world that seems so crazy and even he would say wash your ears out with this. made us all feel like we were not alone feeling our leaders that seem more like dictators.
I used to listen to his story on the radio with my dad when we were coming back from trips! never cared for the stories, as I was only little, but he left a lasting impression on me! I will never forget him saying "and thats, the REST of the story." lol
Actually, the rest of the story has not been told. Napoleon knew that he could no longer defend this vast territory which stretched up to the Canadian border. He knew it was only a matter of time before settlers would occupy the land anyway and they would claim it under Manifest Destiny. Napoleon did not sell the land as was mentioned. What he did sell was the claim that the French owned the land. That land belonged to the natives that had lived there. That's the rest of the story.
so will i, locohog. From one Toledoan to another, I listened to him every single day with either my grandpa and grandma, or myself. There will NEVER be another voice like him.
Paul Harvey is/was a distant blood relative of mine. I missed a chance to meet him when I was 12 and again a few years ago when he came to main campus at PSU.....
All this is pure inference was he there utter bullshit!
