What are the 3 best followers/companions i can get in the whole game.... i need the best i can get cuz i want my blades army to be good, just say the names please and ill just google where they are.... also how do u get followers to do magic, are their just some that do it or do u have to give them a spell book or what, and if you hire one of these people do u have to keep rehiring them or do u only have to once???? please respond i need help.

@krhoda4200 Mjoll the huntress is completely immortal (Lydia can die depending on the situation) so that makes her a good choice for a tank characters, Aela is also completely immortal (however if you complete the "get the Hircine totems" quest she is no longer immortal and since there's a glitch preventing followers from equipping better bows her usefulness is greatly diminished)

Someone told me that the first time the follower is generated in the game their stats are locked to yours? Or is it the first loading screen with them that their stats get locked? I had to go inside that building at like level 5 for a side quest for some old bitch. Haven't spoken to her yet though..

@xDrought I heard that they actually can level up like your character, but they're level capped at much lower levels.

I chose to marry jenassa, but she left the temple before i told her where we would live and i couldn't find her in riften, and i can't find her anywhere in whiterun, or at my houses. Does she go somewhere specific after marriage if shes not told or has she just died trying to walk alone back to whiterun?

Omg I gave her 2 daedric daggers(legendary) enchanted with chance to paralyze for 2 secs and she is the best companion I have ever had!!!! I'm lvl 50 if that matters

@dannymyman Go back to the church right when you walk in she should be there asking you where you should live together

@dannymyman Same thing happened to me once with Aela, turns out that sometimes when you marry someone and they leave the church -err, temple, they basically just get catapulted right off the city walls and therefore end up in one of the games "error" zones, which is impossible to access.

@dannymyman I'm not sure if you play it on your pc, then you can just "summon" Jenassa with the console command which is the `/~ button on the top left corner of your keyboard. Then type in: "prid 000E1BA9" (which is pretty much Jenassa), and press enter. Then type in "moveto player" and when you exit the console command, she should pop up right next to you :)

If you become the harbinger or leader of the companions, you can have pretty much anybody at Javskarr follow you.

@Shimmerman1 I don't think she is that Ugly.. Usually the armor makes the Women ugly... put Jenassa into some other good armor, such as fur, forsworn...

Just a little tip, if you dismiss Jenassa, and you're an Elf, when you go to get her again, it's free. Or so the wiki says...

@KingDeadly626 I can hire her for free and I play a Redguard, I think its because I hired her and then had her go through a few dungeons with me and kill a couple of dragons and then dismissed her at some point, and all that time spent must have caused her to offer her services again for free, at least that's my guess.

Does anyone know if they only stay hired for a certain amount of time, cuz I paid my guy, gave him some stuff, and told him to "Wait," when I returned he said he,"Didn't expect to see me again so soon," then he asked for another $500.00 gold.

Oh and he was wearing the same crappy clothes I found him in, not what I left him with. Also I left Meeko along with my horse on a rocky shoreline, of an island, and told him to, "Wait," I checked the island before leaving them there to be sure it was safe, I went off did my mission, and upon return....Meeko was gone!!!! :( My horse was in the same exact position. I searched the island, and tried to check the surrounding waters.

I figured I took too long or something, (though I wasn't that long LMAO....maybe like an hour....hour and a half) and he went home, but nah.... :( he's not there. So I guess my question is; Is there only a certain amount of time that you can leave hires, and dogs alone before they reset or like Meeko disappear???? Can anyone tell me why I cannot hire a follower? I had one but he got killed and now everytime I try and ask someone to follow me it tells me I already have a folower. And I have left days go by and it still will not allow me to have another follower. Any suggestions?

@TMGISLAND3R I heard the first time a follower 'dies' he actually just kinda faints and comes back later. This could be related.

@TMGISLAND3R go to where you originally found the follower, and talk to him again. He will most likely be there.

@TMGISLAND3R That's why I hate having followers. Try going to the place he "died" or where he is usually found. He is probably alive again and you just need to release him.

@TMGISLAND3R they dont die they become unconscious until you kill the thing that killed her. so if you remember where she was go kill the thing or person and she should stand back up hop this helps

@lingthegreat Followers can not die by another person or enemy, in battle they will fall, not taking any damage from any enemy unless you, even in the slightest way hit or attack them with weapons or magic will your follower die.

@ShawneyTripp Actually they can die in combat. They'll kneel down once their health is low but if they continue to get attacked they'll die.

You can also marry this dark elf. She is really useful for stealth characters.

Don't forget the follower in riften the bee place in there where u get the amulat of valor and there should be a follower in there. Just saying if u didn't know already
