It just doesn't show the HP going into the unit, if you look at Mia VS Brom you can see Brom doing 17 damage instead of 28 because Mia healed 11 during the match

Maybe you could respond in a PM if it requires a huge explanation. I know how I can edit the items Forged Weapons are based on simply by poking the address on a character's data in the RAM, but how did you add those items? Did you change the dummy data item slots into those?

I forge weapons and add nothing to them - then I keep the names of these weapons on with a code in a slot of a unit's and toss Tempest Blades onto empty spaces to become Runeswords - with the Tempest Blade already having the stats of a Runesword beforehand :]
