  • @sdtenn1 My country's skies are bluer than the ocean, and sunlight beams on clover leaf and pine. But other lands have sunlight too and clover, and skies are everywhere as blue as mine. This is my song, thou God of all the nations; a song of peace for their land and for mine.

  • What a wonderful surprise. Finlandia is one of my favorite pieces of Classical Music and the gradual participation of the High School Choir singing the inspirational lyrics was really a wonderful addition to what must have been a great concert. My daughter's family (a lot of them) were there and were enchanted. Grand Rapids is very fortunate to have such a great group of music supporters, and great venues to perform in. Bravo!

    And bravo to the Minnesota Orchestra for being willing to share.
