heres the thing. he sais crimes are up because of soaring gun sales but actual statisics show the exact oppsite. violent crimes are down there will always be a shooting somewhere no matter what and that is very sad but to tell me i cant have a gun because some people have no regard to human life is insane. What about the millions of the rest of us who do no more than shoot at a plywood target? You'll never hear about us. The guy that killed those 3 caps killed them because he was drunk not because he feared for his guns. the story is that this guy an ex-marine was living at his mothers house at the time, and his dog started peeing in the house, so his mother said to him (get the dog out or i will call the caps) and he was drunk so he didn't ,then his mother called the caps and you know what happened,the caps didn't know that had a gun.the news want you to think that gun owners are cap killers.
I think that maybe because the right to bare arms was in the constitution, America (the worlds experiment) people think its OK to own a gun.
Guns are for killing, guns are for war, guns are a last resort when in a life/death situation and shouldnt be available for any nutter who 'wants' one.
The problems we have now are because the whole 'founding' of a new country and its rights were not thought through properly.

We have the most strict gun laws in the UK and gun crime is rife.
15 years ago you rarley heard of it appart from bank robberies and the guns were hardly ever fired.
Now there are several guns crimes every day and regular shootings.
Restricting guns does not work.
