  • HEY PAUL !!! WHAT DOES CEO COCK TASTE LIKE ???

  • This is the same type of garbage retoric that the cons used by calling the Taft-Hartly act of 1947 the "Right to Work" act. FAIL

  • Ryan has it right

  • wow and i even get to keep my health savings acct!!

  • Hey I am no fool. The Fed has been down this road before. They will operate just like Medicare.. which now has over $30 trillions of unfunded liabilities. Why? Because Congress loves creating programs that are underpriced and then leaves the bill to future generations. Well, Uncle Sam is now broke. It has no money to fund a subsidized insurance company. It can't even find the money to fund the $9 trillion in debt that is expected over the next 10 years. Its time to get real!!!

  • well if uncle sam is broke let ask back the tax refunds GWB gave to corporations....

yes I agree we have to get real; no more reps in offoice for the next 50 years minimum...

  • wow... you're a idiot... having a democrat put us in debt by the amount of money they spend... it's ridiculous... where is the common sense in spending money we don't have.... have obamacare is stupid... it's like buying some nice chanel J12 watch well knowing you can't afford it... dems are stupid as hell...

  • Ryan is one of the few members of Congress that truly understands the economics of health care. I have 100 times more faith in the private sector than in government. Why not work with the private sector first and then fill in the holes, if any with a government plan only for the holes?

  • you think that the experienced Paul Ryan is an expert on health care economics

you want to negotiate with the ones that have been robbing us for decades to patch the holes

you are afraid of the government but you are not afraid of uncontrolled corporations

there might be something in the water you drink check it out

  • I believe in the private sector, because it offers choices. If your employer doesn't like its health plan, they can change insurers. I have changed insurance companies 3 times in 5 years. If the Feds takes over, we have no more choices.- just bureaucracy. I called the Medicare a few months ago and waited an hour to talk to someone. When I complained, the Medicare rep. said, "Yes, we know it is horrible, but there is nothing we can do about it." That will be the std. answer going forward.

  • Three insurers in 5 years? mmhh something is not good with the current system

Medicare economy of scale is not comparable with the Universal Health Care plan, therefore your extrapolations are not correct.

  • Shopping around is a good thing, not a bad thing. I have saved money and improved coverage each time. I have done the same thing with auto insurance. I was talking about government bureaucracy and inability to make a change....has nothing to do with economies of scale.

What is really scary is the Obama plan of having the Feds dictate what the private insurers can offer to their customers. I want the freedom to buy what I want... not what Obama thinks I need to have.

  • Our health providers are cartelized, unfortunately the only way to go back to a reasonably health cost it's with more Fed participation....

But don't worry you'll be able to shop around if you want...

  • its sad that the media never focuses on good alternatives :(

  • you mean Ryan's alternative? is that the good one??? An alternative made in the last minute when the Health Lobby seriously fears their privileges are going to be gone forever??? How can you call that a good alternative??

  • Patients' Choice Act ??

Hey Paul is this your reactive answer to Obamas Plan?? why you guys were not proactively presenting this thing when GWB was in office??? Paul Ryan please STOP working for the Health Lobby, get the necessary courage an work for the American People.

  • Yeah, Paul! Stop supporting the capitlaist spirit. Why can't you be more socialist and just agree to a single payer source - see how well it works for Cuba?

  • Making of this issue a Socialism vs Capitalism matter is not more than a opportunistic oversimplification.

Comparing Cuba with America is laughable

    Please give us something better

  • i didnt no chicks thought being a congress man is soo hot... i guess i no what my next job is gona be

  • wow~ he is smart, conveys his message convincingly, and his very cute!!! he makes my heart jump and I am married. shame on me. But I would vote for this guy in a heartbeat. These get him to run!!!

  • Paul Ryan is hot

  • yes!! he is as hot as the money he receives from the health Lobby....

  • But the right wing is just fear mongering and not offering any alternatives at all, I thought? Any door opened to government control of an industry is door that will never close and only get wider.

  • This guy is still hot!!! and he is a smart guy!!

  • Congressman Ryan should run in 2012, he's a very intelligent, well spoken, articulate handsome man. I am in L.A., and I can tell you we love Congressman Ryan at my Republican Clubs.

  • Paul Ryan rocks! I wish I had him representing my district in MN. His proposals have proven than conservaties aren't the party of NO - He is offering valid alternatives to increased gov't control over everything.

  • he represents my district in janesville wi

  • Yep Greenfield. Glad to hear others think so too. It might not be in 4 years, but he will be the next great american president

  • Paul represents my district in Racine County. I've talked to him numerous times. I share your hope that he runs for president, but he has stated many time he has no intention of doing so until his children are much older. I commend him on his family values, but he is definately someone i believe the people can get behind. He talks common sense IMO.

  • Who is this guy?

  • he is the 1st congressional rep. for wisconsin (he is really smart, and should be pres.)

  • I'm sick of liberals telling me republicans dont have a plan for anything. Apparently they never heard of Paul Ryan

  • r u from wisconsin?

  • @PaulRyan4Pres Paul Ryan has a very stupid idea for healthcare, DESTROY MEDICARE. What we need is Single Payer healthcare not more money for bloodsucking insurance companys that kill people.
