I remember as a little kid me and my dad watched this show every night on Nick at Nite. Even now when I'm older I still love this. Thank you dad for introducing me to classic television.
Anyone know if the episode *Scholarship* is anywhere either here or elsewhere? For some reason that eppie sticks out in my mind the most. If anyone does, I'd appreciate it if they told us where we can find and watch it.
It's almost like the hairstylists couldn't decide whether Erin Moran should have curly poodle early 80s hairdo or just a very frizzy long perm. I mean, they did wonders for Chachi's hairdo and Jenny's hair over the years, but they could at least put some effort for Joanie's hairstyle in the later seasons. They almost look they gave on Joanie with that drastic poodle hair Seasosn 9-11. You thought they came up with something better, but they didn't.
I say the show was not as fun without richy there. The storyline with him and fonzie was the best. When they took him off making to show about his sister and Scott Baio. Well the show is called happy days. But taking off richy was the sad day's of the show.
oh I get what your saying I didn't find it that boring when he left but thats only because I started watching happy days in the 8th season and I wasn't use to him but he was a good character
It was nice to have more Chachi and Joanie in there; they were much more interesting than Richie or the Fonz and their little clique.
Chachi and Joanie were much more REAL. What also made those two good was that unlike Fonz and Richie, Chachi was shy, and he and Joanie were not that self-confident the way Fonz and Richie were.
That made Chachi and Joanie much more relatable, like real teens, esp. when they got into funny scrapes. Real teens could identify with them.
Wow youve gotta be kidding,80% Of the people watched this because of the Fonz, thats a fucking legend and everyone knows that, and Way better actor than those kids, the Fonz started the fucking Leather jacket ERA,WHAT ELSE WOULD YOU ASK? if thats your fucking opinion you can STFU and dont mess with the fonz bitch!
Al Molinaro is going to be 90 years old soon on June 24th. God bless that guy. Though I heard his health is pretty much in fragile condition some years ago. But it is good to know that he is still around here. God bless, Al and his Wheezer video appearance.
Their was an episode where Ritche returns from the army and at Al's he fights a knife weilding man before fonzie could get to him. Does anyone know the episode's name?
Version two of the Seasons Eight and Nine theme; version one had shot of Joanie and Chachi falling into Cunningham living room while kissing (they're leaning on the outside of the door as Howard opens it from the inside) and no shots of Roger. The second version was used following Roger's debut episode.
Lynda Goodfriend. Wonder what she's doing now! She was one of my favorite characters. I loved all the characters.
Tom and Henry carried the show when Ron and Donny left. Anson was kind of.... somewhere... lost in the frenzy... Ted McGinley seems to show up whenever shows are nearing their end.
i saw this filmed at paramount studios in 1977-78. cool meeting chachi. the episode i saw was chachis first kiss, he kissed jonie. lousy one but none the less got to see it live

Well, this was the show that brought Scott Baio to fame. Well, as for Ron Howard and Henry Wrinkler, you knew they were going to move on to greater things.
I wonder what it would have taken to get Ron Howard to stay on the show for the entire run of the series? I can't help but wonder if he ever had second thoughts about returning to the show permanently after he left? And what about Donny Most? I wonder if he had any second thoughts about returning to the show permanently as well? It just wasn't the same without Ron and Donny when they left the show in 1980, when they left, Happy Days should have been cancelled immediately after they both left.

Yeah, Fonzie was a legend all right...showing off and with that old thumbs in the air routine, he made legend as an air traffic controller.
But actually, on one side, he did kind of look out for and kind of protected sensitive Chachi when Chach was there.
I think Fonz kind of saw Chach as this funny little chuiwawa and was often amused by Chachi, esp. Chachi's neurosis.
