  • Anyone ever notice how much the Cunningham,s kitchen living room dining room is similar to Lucy & Ricky Ricardo's on I love Lucy

  • @Shayne350 Ron Howard is still alive!

  • It was kinda sad that Richie left.

  • cool

  • I wish this show was on DeJaView in Canada.

  • This was the best version of the theme song, but w/o Ron Howard and Donny Most, it did hurt the show. Still loved the show, tho, even still.

  • RIP Tom Bosley

  • Maybe it's just me, but I think this show really jumped the shark.

  • @Jorbz150

  • I saw Fonzie at the Liverpool Empire last night as captain hook in peter pan he was great!!!

  • This must be the season where Joanie became hot.

  • this is the season where things got a little hairy

  • Ha ys that>

  • Fonzi became Happy Days, everyone else became a side character.

  • Anyone know if the episode *Scholarship* is anywhere either here or elsewhere? For some reason that eppie sticks out in my mind the most. If anyone does, I'd appreciate it if they told us where we can find and watch it.

  • Chach and Joanie come onto their own here...it's so good the see them shine and come forward.

I remember this was the season that poor Chachi broke his ankle playing basketball.

Chachi's smile is so shy and endearingly awkward there; I love it. Sensitive boy.

  • If they had internet would be happy dayz!!!!

  • "excéllent"

  • Courtney Loves Chachi !!!!!! :D

  • It's almost like the hairstylists couldn't decide whether Erin Moran should have curly poodle early 80s hairdo or just a very frizzy long perm. I mean, they did wonders for Chachi's hairdo and Jenny's hair over the years, but they could at least put some effort for Joanie's hairstyle in the later seasons. They almost look they gave on Joanie with that drastic poodle hair Seasosn 9-11. You thought they came up with something better, but they didn't.

  • 0:08 lol

  • Atrocious.

  • lol its like that 70s show

eric left at the end of season 7

and the show still went on

  • Erin Moran never looked better than in this season with the new hairstyle.

  • Tom Bosley was always a handsome man =3

  • tom looks stoned or drunk-iwould be to if i had be on this has been show

  • amazing how much early 80's fashion creeped into the 1950's... this show blew

  • the show by this time was kind of slipping ......

  • What happened to ron howard?

    wasn't he the main guy

Scot baio was cutee back in the day

  • when richie left the show it did change but richie didn't make the show fonzie did

  • I say the show was not as fun without richy there. The storyline with him and fonzie was the best. When they took him off making to show about his sister and Scott Baio. Well the show is called happy days. But taking off richy was the sad day's of the show.

  • oh I get what your saying I didn't find it that boring when he left but thats only because I started watching happy days in the 8th season and I wasn't use to him but he was a good character

  • It was nice to have more Chachi and Joanie in there; they were much more interesting than Richie or the Fonz and their little clique.

Chachi and Joanie were much more REAL. What also made those two good was that unlike Fonz and Richie, Chachi was shy, and he and Joanie were not that self-confident the way Fonz and Richie were.

That made Chachi and Joanie much more relatable, like real teens, esp. when they got into funny scrapes. Real teens could identify with them.

  • @Coryraisa

Wow youve gotta be kidding,80% Of the people watched this because of the Fonz, thats a fucking legend and everyone knows that, and Way better actor than those kids, the Fonz started the fucking Leather jacket ERA,WHAT ELSE WOULD YOU ASK? if thats your fucking opinion you can STFU and dont mess with the fonz bitch!

  • Yeah, Fonzie was a legend all right...showing off and with that old thumbs in the air routine, he made legend as an air traffic controller.

But actually, on one side, he did kind of look out for and kind of protected sensitive Chachi when Chach was there.

I think Fonz kind of saw Chach as this funny little chuiwawa and was often amused by Chachi, esp. Chachi's neurosis.

  • And Chachi and Joanie were just much nicer also. I like nice characters.

  • there's something about this show on Desperate Housewives Season 2 Extras

  • Why isn't Ted McGinley named in the opening credits?

  • I don't think he was a real star of happy days in the 8th and 9th season but he is in the opening credits on seasons 10 and 11

  • i love the song and the show

  • It's one of those shows that makes you feel good....we love you richie, fonzie, potzie, etc etc

  • Is it just me or does Fonz's face make anyone else laugh?

  • I laugh when Fonzie does the old *Aaaaay* thumbs thing. I laugh also a bit when he shows off.

  • Al Molinaro is going to be 90 years old soon on June 24th. God bless that guy. Though I heard his health is pretty much in fragile condition some years ago. But it is good to know that he is still around here. God bless, Al and his Wheezer video appearance.

  • Their was an episode where Ritche returns from the army and at Al's he fights a knife weilding man before fonzie could get to him. Does anyone know the episode's name?

  • Erin & Lynda should've kept their hair long, once they did the show began to slide as Felicity did when her changed. Loved Jenny though...

  • I LOVE THIS SHOW!

  • LOL! I was expecting "And Ted McGinley as Jefferson D'Arcy" ;)

  • Version two of the Seasons Eight and Nine theme; version one had shot of Joanie and Chachi falling into Cunningham living room while kissing (they're leaning on the outside of the door as Howard opens it from the inside) and no shots of Roger. The second version was used following Roger's debut episode.

  • does anyone know if the 1st version is on you tube?

  • can u post that one like to see it

  • Lynda Goodfriend. Wonder what she's doing now! She was one of my favorite characters. I loved all the characters.

Tom and Henry carried the show when Ron and Donny left. Anson was kind of.... somewhere... lost in the frenzy... Ted McGinley seems to show up whenever shows are nearing their end.

  • i saw this filmed at paramount studios in 1977-78. cool meeting chachi. the episode i saw was chachis first kiss, he kissed jonie. lousy one but none the less got to see it live

  • I loved Happy Days when I was a kid.

That song means so much to me, especially the past four years. This song brings back memories when Peter Joyce and Lady Diana and I had some fun back in the early eighties.

I have a lot to say about this for the television et movie et music et literary industry.

Google Jeff Fisher American Patriot loves Jane Bowell and God Forever

  • i always watched this with my mom on TvLand... and i luved this show i still do

  • THE MEMORIES...:) I USED TO ALWAYS WATCH THIS BACK IN THE EARLY 90s AND HENRY WAS FINE AS HELL!!!!!!! IF HE STILL LOOKED LIKE HE DID BACK THEN,I WOULD DEFINITELY HIT THAT!!!! LOLl

  • is henry winkler is alive????????????

  • google it

  • well if you dont want tell me son then damm dont tell me then.... but dont be smart ass about it!!!!!

  • Of course he is still alive. He's 63, still acting and also producing.

  • @pugilistofpower Actually, he's 64 now.

  • @RetroVideoFan My comment is a year old.

  • @pugilistofpower My bad.

  • @RetroVideoFan Don't feel bad. I've accidentally threatened people on here before and never even realised it.

  • alive and well last time i seen him around was with ron howard doing an obama campaigning video quite impressive i forgot the link but was awsome

  • lol inow NOW!!! .. i found out lol but thanks

  • yessssssssssssssssss you moron

  • yes the fonz is alive, i went to orlando magic basketball game, sat courtside and fonz sat behind me. he got a standing ovation, themascot went over and messed up the fonzs 16yr old daughters hair (which was perfect) and she got really really pissed off

  • tom bosley como siempre tam guapo

  • Nice bike

  • why is it in letter box format

  • x Simone Indelicato caro fonzies ben ritornato

  • This is one of the best theme songs of a show ever.

  • Where'd Ron Howard go???

It's not HAPPY DAYS without Ron Howard!!!!

  • Ron howard= Happy Days

    Not Ron Howard= Fucking Days

  • Well, this was the show that brought Scott Baio to fame. Well, as for Ron Howard and Henry Wrinkler, you knew they were going to move on to greater things.

  • I wonder what it would have taken to get Ron Howard to stay on the show for the entire run of the series? I can't help but wonder if he ever had second thoughts about returning to the show permanently after he left? And what about Donny Most? I wonder if he had any second thoughts about returning to the show permanently as well? It just wasn't the same without Ron and Donny when they left the show in 1980, when they left, Happy Days should have been cancelled immediately after they both left.

  • Should have been cancelled the day Scott Baio turned up. The first few series were brilliant kids TV. The last few looked more like the 80s than the 60s. The show was unfunny, dead on its feet and an embarrassment.

  • Naap, I think it got going once CHACHI (not Scott the brat) turned up. I have read that Chachi's a lot nicer than Scott.

  • Hearing this makes me smile, fuckin fantastic

  • Are you talking about Erin's or Scott's hairstyle that screams early 80s...? Just wondering.

  • kind of weird how the later seasons had more of a 80s felling to em.

  • loved this when i was younger i never missed it

  • questo e'il mio telefilm preferito.

  • this is on wgn america at 3:30 AM-4:30 AM

  • I'll bet if Ron Howard would have been allowed to direct some episodes of Happy days, he would have stayed on the show for about another year or so, along with Donny Most as well, but the show was NEVER the same without Ron Howard and Donny Most when it was explained that Richie and Ralph joined the Army, when Ron and Donny left, they should have cancelled the show.

  • They offered to let him direct some episodes but he turned them down. Happy Days had one director, Jerry Paris, who did every single episode from about 1976 until the end of the series, and Howard has said that he didn't see any reason why he should direct episodes when Paris was available and would do a better job.

  • The Fonz is the coolest character on tv ever & if you don't think so you can Sit On It!

  • FONZY is the best

  • the fonz aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay

  • That *Aaaaay* business with the thumbs-up got tiresome after a while.

Chachi and Joanie were the best; I'm glad they didn't have Chachi be a "junior" rip-off of Fonzie.

Chachi had his own funny hand gestures. And Chachi's LEFT-HANDED!!!!

And sensitive. And smart. And sweet. And endearingly awkward.

  • i met the fonz yesterday in Book Rebue in NY

  • I LOVE THIS SHOW!

  • HAHAHAHAHAH this is awesome!!!

  • I want see the Intro with Cathy Silvers on the front and Roger. Ted McGinley

  • Man this show was awesome, great theme.

  • you can't have happy days without Ron Howard!

  • Did seem different.

  • i know... i thought hw was the cutest and sweetest of all the characters.

  • ...but cute in an awkward way :]

  • LOL! Look at the old bald guy now.

  • HAHAHA ok, emphasis on "was" :D

  • HAHAHA ok, emphasis on "was" :D

  • I hear ya. LOL!

  • You mean Al Molinaro?

  • He is still alive.

  • But they did...and it gave Chachi, Jenny, and Joanie a chance to shine.

Fonzie kind of looked out for Chachi, which was good, but sometimes he and Richie were obnoxious show-offs.

  • can you please post the season 10 opening and closing credits Iwould really like that

  • "Happy Days" was a good show, But really Jumped The Shark sometimes during it's run.
