  • They should have him the announcing for the next NHL video game.

  • Rick Jeanneret is the Hot Rod Hundley of hockey love his call!

  • Buffalo Fans are made from Ricks Commentary.

  • 5:47 gave me chills.

  • I chuckled a little when it said Rick DiPietro was out for the remainder of the season with the swelling off the knee.

  • MAXIM AFINOGENOV ROLL THE HIGHLIIGHT FILM

  • RJ drives me crazy. really why is he so respected?

  • @bridegnan09 Because he has more passion for the game than 90% of other announcers out there, and he seems to be one of the few with the mental capacity to actually call and follow the game in front of him. You know, like an actual ANNOUNCER. He makes each and every game that much better and more exciting with his call. That's why.

  • Was that guy's name really Satan??

  • @Vanhelsing8900 Miroslav Satan. Shuh-tan.

  • the two people underneath me are fucking retarted

  • I love Jeanneret but Ted Darling was a legend as well.

  • rj is the best nobody out there like him it wont be the same when he retires ted darling was awesome too

  • in the opening who said "there goes the horn for the final time and there go the lights"?

  • Not 100% sure, but it might have been Pete Weber...I am pretty sure that its from the closing of the Aud in '96 because of the horn, and Weber was doing radio for the Sabres at that time I think

  • That was Rick at the closing of the Aud in 96 ... you can find that here on YouTube if they haven't taken it down. It doesn't quite sound like Rick because he was holding back the tears because Ted Darling wasn't there to see it.

  • One of the Greatest exports from St. Catharines, Ontario.

  • BEST EVER

  • The one with Pete Weber was really good, too.

  • agreed.....Pete Weber was also the Sabres announcer at one point during the 90s and also did play-by-play for the Triple A Buffalo Bisons. He is a great announcer as well.

  • Yeah I remember seeing his call of Derek Plante's goal against the Senators. Plus you can hear him like 3 or 4 times during the intro video.

  • @joetodaro he wit nashville now i

  • rodney? youre kidding right?

  • I hope one day the Sabres could win the cup for RJ...

    GO DEVILS 09

  • Has this aired already on the NHL Network???

  • It will be on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

  • thank you so much for posting this!!!

  • RJ is the best, and no hockey game is right without him on the call. One of the reasons I want to be a hockey analist. Hes the man, stick around for a little while longer Rodney!

  • Jeanneret is the best in the NHL.

  • 0:12 i was looking for that call for years, i couldnt find it anywhere.

    Thanks!
