I remember when this movie first came out, there was a lot of trepidation on the part of both the critics and the public, about such a broad spoof of the Frankenstein movies, and that it was in B/W. It was roundly dismissed by reviewers at its initial opening.

Go Marty Feldman! I also liked the Prussian cop with the gimp arm. Then there was the dart scene, when the dart went out the window, and a cat yowled. That was when Brooks added that sound, I understand that it was Brooks who made the sound, unplanned. All in all one of my favorite movies of all time.
