  • Paul McCartney for President 2016! ;D;D;D

  • absolutely stunning!

  • DAMN his voice in this one:O So damn good. better than the studio :O Fucking hell! PAUL FOR WORLD PRESIDENT !

  • reminds me of wings a lot!

  • His best stuff in years....

  • 4 people are deaf

  • omg what an entertainer! He has been so gifted!

  • So , it's me or you can see the twin towers on the screen ?!!

  • So happy that i was there it was a great night the soundtrack was very well done as well!

  • Respond to this video... great song in the mccartney tradition!!!

  • @Stewsmusic Oh ill bet it was....ill bet it was.its a bitch to finaly have to pay your taxes huh rich boy?

  • is obama on the screan

  • @fl00dsm0k3 Yes :) That's talking about changes I think he dedicate this song to him !

  • This song has 3 chords, no chorus.... and is a great song. Wow, what is it about this one that's so cool? Shoulda been a hit record.

  • the auto tune destroys what would have been a perfect recording

  • @Stewsmusic

No politicians do anything to change anything anymore. it's all about the $.. you politic followers are ridiculously stupid.

  • Paul is still the best musican and bass player in the world. Paul i love you. You, Beatles, Wings, Fireman 4ever !!!

  • greetings to mom and dad from me too. this is fine what you did

  • Sing the Changes from the Fireman in this awesome live version with Paul McCartney and his fantastic Band at 9/11/11 in NY, that would be perfect. I love this video, performed in NY. Thanks Paul, you are still the BEST

  • This song and pauls bass are wonderfull. i love it so much

  • O BAM A!

    O BAM A!

  • Paule,du bist geil! Was für ein geiler Song

  • 4 people don't believe in changes

  • This song is magic. This song in a commercial from vodavone or t-com and it will become a major hit like "we are the people" from empire of the sun. This is my most loved live performance video from paul and his fantastic band. Paul looks and sound fantastic and hear the wonderful sound of the hofner bass. This version is much better than the record version.

  • Una mas de las canciones hermosas de Paul, eres grande, maravilloso y tus musicos sensacionales, tanto Rusty, Brian, Abe y Paul (teclados)

  • Pure b-s politics. Would the audience embrace this song if it was praising George W. Bush? Dumb question, eh?

  • This version from the GENYC DVD is perfect, but if Paul's not gonna sing it this way anymore, he should go back to Highway or Only Mama Knows. In the other hand, I don't know why not sing it this way (New York style, let's say), since it's not a high-voice demanding song. He does Helter Skelter & Day Tripper every concert now, and those require a difficult high-voice. Oh well, maybe he wanted the CD/DVD version to be original and unique, never before to be performed that way.

  • Love you Paul - but let's get real folks. He didn't write this song with Obama in mind. The Fireman was a spontaneous album by design, each song written and recorded in the same day. After the fact people read "changes" into a meaning that connected with them. Nothing new for a Beatle. Paul (in his blind liberalism) decided that was a good connection and used it. Such a great artist, the best ever IMO. I don't blame him. Most celebrities just follow along when it comes to politics.

  • Perfect post.

  • @ym61 That and the fact that at this time he was either going to or had already received the Gershwin prize from the president ;)

  • This song says mature PM to me, and he lived a most beautiful life from start to now and thank God he shared with us!

  • This song says matue PM to me, and he lived a most beautiful life from start to now and thank God he shared with us!

  • ordinary peopel express their political and social views all the time. why shouldn't Paul? Its not as bad as some musicians using their songs in commercials for horrible products like alcohol or cigarettes or violent or innapropriate movies or just in stupid ways in general.

  • Like this live version better than the original. And everybody should have noticed that McCartney still has a great voice for a (then) 67 year old grandpa!

  • PAUL I LOVE YOUUU

  • God have a last name Mccartney.

  • I really hate it when artists use their own music to politicize. Paul McCartney is far and away my favorite musical artist of all time and IMO the greatest in my lifetime. I really liked this song and I am deeply disappointed that Paul used it to shove his political beliefs down our throats. It really has ruined a great song for me. There is always a danger of pissing off half of your fans when you do this. Still love ya though, Paul!

  • Ooo-Ooo-Oooooo ; Ooo-Ooo-Ooooo; Ooo-Ooo-Ooooo; Ooo-Ooo-Ooooo

  • Happy Birthday, Paul McCartney!

  • This is my favorite recent song of Paul's. When I heard it at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts in August of 2009, I stood up and put my arms out and got spiritually high. This song is so deep and spiritually inspiring. Not a religious song at all. It just speaks to the human spirit of "childlike wonder."

  • I really love this song!

  • What is a Rock Star supposed to look like? Sir Paul does not look like that image of a Rock Star. No, Sir Paul IS THE ultimate Rock Star and whatever he looks like is what a Rock Star looks like.

  • absolut fantastic. i love this song, this live version is much better than the cd-version.love paul and his lovely hofner bass

  • @JotheBytle I agree, live is much better, has much more energy.

  • Was it really necessary to have a picture of Obama at the end of the song? What a bunch of shit. Dont you losers read the news on the alternative media websites? Both parties are controlled by the global elite and banking cartels. They are meeting at the Bilderberg Group meeting this week. Time to wake up from the false Left VS Right paradigm. Still a good song though, but this political bullshit puts a bad taste in my mouth.

  • @Zwikster Agreed. The only thing I don't like about Macca. Why support that fake unbereable president? Macca doesn't need political shit, he's great at what he does, so he should stop his support to Osama, I mean, Obama.

  • What did that guys sign say? lol

  • This live version and the live version of Only Mamma Knows and the live version of Highway are all better than the recorded songs. These are amazing songs. I think Paul should write some songs for some young artists just to show that he is still writing number one hits.

  • this is the best version

  • This is gold!

  • this fireman song from pauls alternative project ist absolut fantastic. i love this song so much, it makes good feelings and it is wonderful to see how good paul look, play and sing. oh my god. so awesome

  • It's live much better than on the original cd.

  • @newyorktown absolut. i have the fireman cd an i love it. but this version is much better. paul still is so a fantastic musician. awesome

  • Imagine this, Paul singing, but playing no instrument :/

    he would look really awkward

  • @chickenbutt6000 youtube.com/watch?v=7jScqRDtKR4 He did sometime, but he'd better take a guitar here

  • @chickenbutt6000 He did when he came on stage with Neil young, seems totally unplanned as you will see, lovely video but indeed, weird see him on stage without his guitar".Neil Young+McCartney a day in a life"

  • I've just seen Sir Paul in Lima yesterday. I didn't know this song (shame on me), but it is certainly precious.......

  • I've just seen Sir Paul in Lima yesterday. I didn't know this song (shame on me), but certainly it is precious.......

  • I went to this tour in Miami. It was the best experience I have ever had in my entire life.

  • This version should be number 1 in the charts! Beats Bieber in every possible (and impossible) way!! Sir Paul #1

  • @FraserM817 absolute right, this song has such a power, a message, a good feeling. i love the firemansong so much. on of the best songs in this decade. i will buye the new york dvd, this seem to be a very good concert. paul still is the best !!! and he still looks so fantastic, and with this wonderful nice hofner bass guitar. love it all!!!

  • Such a lovely song. Has a sort of gospel feel in a way. Perhaps an underlying tone but no less a magnificent number. Wayne

  • I was watching these "Best of Paul McCartney on YouTube" on YouTube and on one clip he is in the studio doing this "Ooh Aah Ooh" thing. Then later I found this song and I realized thats what the "Ooh Aah Ooh" is for. MOST of Paul's songs are pretty much perfect.

  • Always the best....

  • He did this song so much better live!

  • @JammerZice So what is this ???

  • @Choefoe Hmmm... by looking at it for about (1) seconds it looks like Paul McCartney playing LIVE.

  • @JammerZice right haha;-)

  • this song is so fantastic. i love the firemans songs

  • 4 people can't fell the quiet and feel the thunder!!!!!!

  • Awsome song!!!!!!!!!!

  • Interesting that the guitarist to Mac's right uses amp feeds (electrical chord) from his guitar to the amp. I hadn't seen that since the 1960's. Why does he use such a set up? I like it. I just don't understand it in an era when everyone else has shunned the amp feeds.

  • this is an amazing song. I just dance inside when I listen to it.

  • Sing your praises, in the city, New York City, here we go now!....gets me every time :)

  • As strange as it may sound, this live performance is the only way i can listen to this song. it can't be any other live show and not the album version; only this specific one. i dont know why, maybe because i saw this show in person and heard the song for the first time and fell in love with it.

  • @DaRkMATTer5193 I know right? I don't like the original version or any other version. Just this one (: And you're so lucky to have been there! I have yet to go to a Paul McCartney concert. Long live Paul McCartney ! <3

  • Rusty Anderson did a really good job on this

  • this song and its lyrics are such a firework straight to my heart and mind

  • I just LOVE this song and the entire Electric Arguments album. All you need is love, right?

  • In my opinion I think he put obama cuz' its a change in what were supposed to see everyday :D he's the first black president (im not racist), it's a change as he says :D

    Great Song indeed

  • Methinks Sir Paul Ended The SHUT THE HELL UP!! This is paul mccartney Not Politics With The Obama pic.Does Not Seem To be About Firemen.Seems About The Messiah,Obama.

  • SHUT THE HELL UP!! This is paul mccartney. Not politics. Fuck politics. Leave it alone and watch the vid. And besides political parties are retarded, Washington was smart enough to warn us about them, but we didnt listen. We're all retarded. Just watch the man sing and stop complaining. God damn...

  • I've listened to this song daily since, like march. It's amazing!

  • Great song but what the heck is Obama doing on the screen?!!!

  • @orbis2009 I think it is because like some of us Sir Paul knows that Obama will be able to change things for America no matter how long it takes, so he is Singinf the changes

  • @2Guys1Contour Get real. Mr. Obama is a war economy President, just like Bush. He has escalated the war into wars, open and covert in Pakistan, Yemen and Somalia. Torture and rendition remain, he appointed the Wall Street culprits who are responsible for global meltdown to his administration and nine-tenths of all the peoples wealth is plundered and shared by those at the top while the middle and bottom are foreclosed on

  • @orbis2009 No h is not he isn't like Bush, the problem is that a ton of americans think just because he promised changed, that he should be able to do it in two years. Come on get serious the americans gave Bush 8 years to did such a big hole, they will need to give Obama much longer to even make a small fight back from the hole left by Bush

  • @orbis2009 Totally agree with. Im American and I feel disgraced to have Obama as our President. He is not experienced enough in any field WHATSOEVER. Luckily though, he wont be able to do anything now that Republicans have the majority and Boehner is head of the house. FCKNNNN LIBS!!!!!!

  • @orbis2009 the song is sing the changes ... obama made many promises of change

  • @caulinrocker1 Changes...yes, more planetary wars, more junkets and handouts to Wall Street and so on...

  • @0rbis2010 it seems pretty close to that so far ... but he has done some improvement as ive seen stuff like gas seem to ease up in pricing a little ... at least hes not as bad as bush but we should choose more carefully during this election

  • @orbis2009

because he promised change and didn't do anything.. the didn't do anything part could go for Bush too though.. neither side has good choices... LOL.

  • @Afireinside912 Hard to do anything when half mthe congress vows to make you a one term prez before you even take office...oh and study the word "filibuster"...might enlighten you a bit!!

  • THIS IS GREAT!

  • This is great...

  • paul is a really genious, only he can make magic after all those years!!!He is really a beatle!!!!

  • who is the drummer?

  • @dontdrum ABE LABORIEL JUNIOR

  • Wenn ich diese Lied höre werde ich automatisch glücklich und habe das verlangen einfach nur fröhlich rumzuhüpfen!! Einfach eine Legende dieser Paul!!!

  • I feel really good after listening to this song, no matter what time of day it is

  • Temazoooo!!!!!!!!!!!!! Y Paul un divinooooooooooooo!!!

  • What a great musician... Paul is incredible... always working in new projects without leaving his "Beatle" essence... I could enjoy his "Up&Coming" Tour here in Argentina....gosh, he's really a genius!!!

  • Beautiful song, I didn't know it until Paul played it live here in Argentina...

    ¡¡Aguante Paul McCartney!!

  • @viccos81 Un temazo, yo la conocí apenas un tiempito antes y desde la primera vez que la escuché me gustó, igual escucharla en vivo es más impresionante todavía.

  • Hmm, this is my daily wakeup tone. Nice to hear it during the night too.

  • This song is great. I'm looking forward to seeing Macca live in two days.

  • @Helmut83 i thought he finished the up and coming tour...

  • @starwarsfreak1111 No, thank God not, he plays tomorrow in Buenos Aires, i'm gonna be there of course.

  • @Helmut83 ME tooooooooooo vamos carajo

  • @agustinbesteiro me too is veri emocionant, como diria carlitos

  • @patriciopotz ajajjjajaj

  • @patriciopotz jajaj

  • @patriciopotz q mal q pronunciaba

  • @captz1000 Did you use 'liberal' as an insult? You *really* should learn what words mean before you use them. Also, learn to spell, and use punctuation.

  • @captz1000 Did you use 'liberal' as an insult? You *really* should learn what words mean before you use them.

  • Since this song was literally improvised in the studio in a single day, Paul said he had to re-learn the vocals and bass part over again from scratch, along with his band, in order to do it on tour. He had to come up with an arraingement for a live band, since it was orginally recorded by Paul alone, with every instrument he could overdub.

  • Some breaks are still boring. Some parts are fantastic.Great song.Makes feel good.

  • Paul McCartney - Formidable. All you modern screamers and rappers - stand aside for Sir Paul, you can NEVER get rid of him...

  • Wish I could be there ;-)

  • The 3 people that voted this down, are some sick, sick people! I love ya Paul!

  • THE GREAT MASTER OF WORLD MUSIC: SIR PAUL

  • Best song from Paul in years

  • @slappyabromowitz people say that about everything he writes. It could be shit and still people would go out and buy it.

  • Not as popular because it's a song about our libral I am about to bankrupt the country president

  • @captz1000 You know I have many conservative opinions but I wouldn't shut down a musician, a song or a movie that was good beacuse of them, that would be a heavily myopic filter to carry around. I share your sentiments on Obama but I don't think this song is about him, recorded in 2007 relaeased in 2008 I believe

  • PAUL ES OTRO DIOS

  • Love so much this song... It's true it's strange this song hasn't gotten more airplay. Paul is a very nice man as he bought for Cynthia (first Lennon's wife) some John letters she sold because she needed money. Paul was the only beatle who visited Cynthia once John left her forever and he made Hey Jude for supporting Lennon's son, Julian. Sure he's a good man.

  • Agreed - I'm surprised this song hasn't gotten more airplay. Also like the live version better than the studio version. Saw him in Philly - awesome show!! Can't wait for him to return!

  • Love this song.

  • Love Paul and this tune, but like many celebrities clueless on connecting songs with politicians - not a good idea - perhaps new lyrics are now needed, "Sing the Changes..come November..hear the quiet..taking over...no more chatter..will be heaven..cast your ballot...draw new pictures...No more raises...to your taxes...while you're sleeping..time to wake up...

  • its 3:14 AM now, i just finished studying and had a bad day.

but when i hear this song, it doesn't seem so bad at all

  • Personally think this version is better than the Album version - Great song

  • "Sing the Changes..............feel the quiet, feel the thunder". Quite a song and message to receive after thawing a lifelong containment of emotion and feeling. This song makes one want to immediately move in a positive direction. Is there any better in the business than Sir Paul McCartney at cute and catchy? "Feel the sense of childlike wonder"................

  • Sometimes I think he's an angel. Okay, I think it every day.

  • I like how everyone in the band really looks like they're having a good time.

  • @cornonrun Exactly:D

  • @cornonrun Macca only still does this cos he loves doing it - and im glad he does, or i would never have seen him live 3 times in the space of 1 year, he is still unstoppable

  • Paul is amazing! I saw him August 9th in Toronto. It was an incredible concert!

  • Flashing pictures of Chariman Mao, you aint gonna make it with anyone anyhow===

  • @k3304 Obama is not Chairman Mao. Get a grip on reality.

  • This is amazing!

Paul is a genius, his songs will last forever .

  • This song deserves more views.

  • This is a beautiful song - bursting with lots of the old magic. Saw Macca play Hyde Park on an amazing London summer evening - sending this song out while the sun was setting. Sublime!!

  • Saw Sir Paul perform this last night in Toronto (Aug.8/10). Awesome song. Awesome show.

  • i'm going to see McCartney next Saturday, and I want his guitar..3 people missed the like button.

  • The bassline sounds like it came from Youth rather than Macca.

    Not bad.

  • It's such an upbeat, positive song. It makes me smile. :-)

  • Just saw him perform this last night at Charlotte NC he's the most amazing singer ever

  • No matter what type of music somone may perform or what type of songs someone sings, Paul McCartney is an inspiration to all and an inspiration to keep excelling in what we do. God Bless The Beatles and R.I.P John and George :)

  • I just saw him perform this in Kansas City. Such an awesome song!

  • @pcostel1...I was there also with my daughter and two of her friends. It was a fantastic show, wasn't it?

  • i listened to the song at his concert here in puertorico and it was amazing

  • I just heard Sir Paul at ATT Park in SF. I was outside by McCovey Cove. I didn't know this song. It's a spectacular, one of his best I think. I love the optimism and energy expressed is contagious. This is the kind of song I would have on a loop and just play over and over. I could hear U2 doing this.

  • 1 year after this show at Citi Field I'm still listening to the CD and checking out the videos. the shows were awesome. thanks Paul

  • @Wings1979 omg yes. I framed my ticket with a picture of the beatles I have. It was honestly the best concert I ever went too. I have the DVD I still watch some of it atleast once a week.

  • OMG, Paul, my hero.

  • my favourite! two chords to tell the truth, that's enough.

  • 2 Chords to tell the truth, that's enough. i could listen to it over and over again.

  • @biberfranzkopf great song for the budding guitarist.

2 chords and BAM you've got a party piece xD

  • This band rocks!

    perfect for Macca!

  • great new song Paul we love you Perú

  • This man is amazing :D people say that music isn't good anymore, well Paul proves them wrong<3 they don't take the time to realize that the good music isn't going anywhere and the bad stuff has recently been introduced. Not ALL newer stuff is bad, you just have to know where to look! I love this song<3

  • I cannot put into words how great this song is!

  • I like that song Sing the Changes

  • I agree with others. The Obama images are ridiculous. Can you imagine if Sir Paul or another entertainer had images of Bush, Palin, or McCain? There would be outrage! I personally don't want to see or hear any political opinions at a concert I pay alot of money to attend. I love the song. I find it a call to PERSONAL inspiration rather than any larger social or political meaning. His recent childish behavior at the White House is also a downer. Enough with the politics!

  • @Oldschool7166 I think the Obama images are a great idea and also the things Paul said at the White House..Sing the Changes!!!

  • @Oldschool7166

    Totally agree.

  • Sir Paul McCartney Forever

  • whats with the Obama backdrops? bit much that... politics and rock dont mix in that way... thats ass kissin.

  • @MrZOMBIFICATION

    Totally agree.

  • whats with the Obama backdrops? bit much that... politics and rock dont mix in that way... thats ass kissin.

  • Well this is from the best concert he's ever recorded

  • Why Obama is in t he back (Obama is great ) i liked it it was effect

  • Hoy estaré viendo a Paul McCartney!!!! Ya es 27 de mayo!!! y esta la escucharé, so excited!!!

  • @Catatonian Yo fui a verlo tambien estuvo genial
