  • did the girl play alice"s voice in the cartoon??????????

  • @sailorscoobygirl04 of course! her name is "Kathryn Beaumont" she is best known for playing the voice of Alice. she's also best known for the voice of Wendy from Peter Pan too

  • Its amazing how these men did everything 4:10 to 4:44 to just put a smile on childrens faces. God bless their hearts.

  • algebra IS worse than that jabberwocky poem =)

  • i wish they still had movies like this today but now all you've got is good luck charlie and hannah montanna and other shows like that!! im only 12 and i still miss the older movies walt made. Now you dont really see alice and wonderland or bambie or even sleeping beauty!!! when i was little i used to watch ALL the old disney movies walt used to make and i miss them dearly!! now you get to see how disney has really advanced!

  • I loved watching Ed Wynn (Twilight Zone fame) and Jerry Colonna in live action sketches with the audio perfectly synced over top. Funny!

  • @er10b he also appeared in mary poppins.

  • this is amazing. how can they draw so fast like that??

oh and i LOVE how walt disney transports himself from one end of the studio to the other. i need a train like that

  • @princezZz007 did ya see all the wood he has loaded for the locomotive?

That's a fair chunk of money just to keep that little train runnin...

  • @er10b um ok good? really, don't worry about it. you're not the one spending that fair chunk of money. it's all good i promise.

  • It kinda makes me sad. I wish some things could just last :/ at least we'll always have this movie and other things that have been left behiiind.

  • Ironically? Ms.Kate Beaumount is a former math school teacher in L.A.,Cal.

  • The disney company was not the same once Disney died

  • What is the name of the invention at 0:09 ?I've always wondered.

  • I can't even imagine how the animators were able to figure out how to time the frames per second perfectly with the voice acting and music. That is something I have always wondered about with animation.

  • Fascinating! Who'd've known they had sets and costumes for a cartoon? :)

The only Disney movie I ever liked. I had the film in a sort of graphic novel format as child - i assume it was part of a bigger book - does anyone know what this was? I'd love to find it again.

  • alice in wonderland is for sure my fav disney movie

  • I love how they make the sound effects, like the man blowing air into the water :D

  • tough job. without computers of course, how did they manage to do that?

  • Would you happen to have the Fred Waring appearance?

  • LOL, I love how Disney must have asked them to sile- one hardly smiles when trying to concentrate

  • disney in 1950s better than 2000s, I mean really since Walt Disney Died from lung cancer. Everything messed up.

  • And movies today are not as charming compared to movies from back then, because they win the hearts of more people than today's movies.

  • i don't think it's messed up, although it's not the same without walt. disney still makes great movies and i still feel the magic that walt left behind

  • @shiro1985 not necessarily, Little Mermaid, Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, The Rescuers, and The Great Mouse Detective- were still wonderful! Their latest movies have not been has enchanting though.

  • @MysticZen And not to forget the Lady and the Tramp.

  • @MysticZen and don't forget Aladdin

  • @MysticZen and don't forget Pocahontas and The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

  • @1RichardHunt Actually , he died from lung cancer.

  • @1RichardHunt I don't think that there are clues that Walt Disney died from a Heart Failure.

  • @lifestream85

    What? What!?!

  • @1RichardHunt sorry , it was an accident

  • Disney in the 30's, 40's, and 50's. There's nothing better than that. Such lovely innocence.

  • They'll say that about us in another 50 years.

  • Ed Wynn always makes me crack up :)

  • Beautiful...wonderful!!! Thanks. XOXO
