  • I always had strictly sexual relations with black women and the hair thing never came up except once when the wig came off in the heat of the moment but it didn't lower the temperature we found ourselves surrounded by in heat of that sexy mid-summer night of passion and clawing romance...

  • Reminds me of the date I went on with this really hot white dude. He was trying to act knowledgeable b/c his younger sister is half-black and she wears weaves. He got a little too comfy and totally called me out on my lace wig! LMAO. No, it wasn't long, straight, flowing and with the tacky ass glue showing on my forehead. Needless to say, I couldn't stop laughing. Didn't stop us from going out again, either. It's an individual preference. Many men dislike ANYTHING unnatural and many don't care.

  • @2010ChallyRT if your concerned about the money than maby you shouldn't be dating anyone

  • THe only ones who hate weave is black men but they are always oooing and awwing about some beautiful women on t.v with long fake hair. Go figure.

  • The weave is a hold over from self-hate of natural black hair. Not every black girl does it for that reason but many do.

  • I'm a white guy that has dated several black women, and personally hair is really a non-issue to me. I was pretty surprised to find out that hair is so important to black woman. Either way, natural or fake, I love black woman.

  • I would prefer a woman who does NOT wear a weave. A beautiful woman like "begorgeousxoxo" has more to offer than her hair, so it wouldn't make too much difference.

  • I'm another white guy that likes the natural look more. But REALLY, it doesn't matter either way.

  • Fake or Not...It looks Hot...Hot...Hot!! =)

  • I'm a black woman and my boyfriend is white. He especially likes when I wear my hair with twisties/locks or wear it natural and loose. But for the most part, he really doesn't pay much attention to hair in general. Like you said, guys are guys and they don't exactly know a lot about hair or more or less pay a lot of attention to it.

  • Speaking as a white guy, I'd prefer the au-natural look.

My concern with dating someone with fake hair would be that you would be too overly conscious of it, not to mention, I have heard that weaves and wigs and hair extensions are expensive and need a lot of maintenance. If I'm going to be sharing a life with you, the last thing I want is all of our savings being blown on all of your trips to the stylist!!! I'd be really pissed off if you spent $400 a month on your hair.

  • @2010ChallyRT Just for your information, only a crazy girl would spend $400 a month on fake hair. Its more like 200 a year...which basically equates to the cost of 4 hair cuts a year. Its not expensive to have fake hair.

  • The hair is not what I look for in black women, I love them any way. but the features I like is their good hart, full lips, curves, eyes and how passionate they are...but is just me

  • I live in a racially diverse neighborhood. I have dated many women of color. The truth is... We really don't give a fuck about hair whatsoever. We are way more concerned with the rest of you. It starts with your eyes, and then your mind. If the rest of you is decent we are happy.

  • I like it when black women get what I'll call 'buzz-cuts', though I'm not solely turned on by that look.

  • I prefer kinky hair with dreadlocks. Luv it.

  • P.S. dreads are cool :)

  • I find that most wm dont even CARE as long as it makes you look good. Natural looking weave or straight weave is always fine with them.

  • As i white guy i prefer natural hairstyles of black females, many wm has mentioned to me to have same kind of opinion. If black females are thinking that whites love just straight hair they have been manipulated by media. You know, men generally have very wide preference of woman. I've never found correlation between color of skin or hairstyle and IR. Personality is decisive.

About fake hair? Hardly big advantage though hardly big issue too. I prefer natural.

  • I never knew black girls wore fake hair till I went to a black high school..im like the fuck fake hair o.O To be honest it looks better without like in my school some girls have just their normal hair in like a ponytail with like hair over one eye..looks good to be honest but when a girl uses 4ft fake hair with colors...thats a fucking problem lol

  • I mainly speak for myself as quite ordinary white man - married to a Ghanean woman.

As most women in Ghana, she used to wear 'plastic' hair, and though it didn't really disturb me because of Love, it felt very hard and rough, while her natural hair is more soft and somehow feels 'pearly'.

Most Ghanean women wear wigs or extensions, mainly of plastic - IMO that is because they have been suggested by various campaigns not to be attractive the way they are - they alsao often bleach their skin... :(

  • u do realize that most white guys dont even realize black girls have a weave on right? the only reason my white ass knows is cuz my girl is black. but before that i had no idea!!! black guys r just used to it cuz thats how there mom and sisters have been. they grew up with weaves and seeing it get put on!! even my boys had no idea my girls hair is fake haha black girl hair is way different than white girls. it just takes a min to get used to!!! WE DONT TRIP just be cofident in your skin

  • @AHintOfReality Maybe for your personal tastes. But, have you ever heard of Halle Berry? Rihanna? Demi Moore? They were all pioneers of the short cut and they were super sexy.

  • I would have no problem with fake hair as long as you are not fake inside girl.

ow just one thing... that almost fluorescent red lipstick is a bit odd...a less aggressive color or just some gloss is the way to go, at least IMO.

  • hey begorgeousxoxo, I have dated black women with both fake and natural hair. To tell you the true I like both, both are sexy...

  • If you have a pretty face, which you do, it's not gonna matter much which way you go with your hair, IMO. I preffer long hair, but it's hardly going to make a difference in wether or not I'd ask a girl out. Obviously I can't speak on behalf of anyone other than myself, but I'd take you out regardless of your hair, based on your looks and personality.

  • youre one of the few people who can pull off red lipstick. PS I can't lol

  • looking good :)

  • @arthuria123 my fiance says he doesn't like weave but I don't do my hair for him, I do it for convenience and he thinks I look beautiful no matter what!

  • Thanks so much!! I kept on checking back for this!

I have relaxed hair and sometimes wear extensions.

  • i don't really care, but for the average black woman natural hair does look better. it's still just hair of course. women shouldn't change their face/breasts/butts and so on. that's a little weird, but that's my opinion...

  • I'm a white guy and I find natural hairstyles to be the most attractive. As far as fake hair goes, I'm partial to some of those braided extensions (don't know what they're called) because they look the most real to me.

But those are just my personal feelings on this. There's probably not any one thing that ALL white guys find attractive. Everybody's got different tastes.

  • I don't know anything about afrocentric hair. Weaves, Hot combs, and relaxers are all foreign to me. I think might watch the documentary "Good Hair" by chris rock, just to get a better idea.
