i still think is sounds like Saul Wassweiler from the village in New York.. On a Bosendorfer 290 ( 97 key) .. The start sounds lower then D.. Still bet on A.. just has that Bosendorfer Sound with a lot of sympathetic resonances fro the Black keys on the opening..

From 3.38 (my favourite part) my granddaughter and myself (who both play this piece) have never found the sheet music, and so developed it 'by ear' from listening to an mp3 that she used to have of it. We just kept the bass to the simple round of 8 chords, and concentrated on the treble hand.
