  • Thanks for the song. One of my all time favorites.

  • I was stationed in a one horse town in western Texas serving our uncles wishes. I used watch this on the tv. I grew up a city bot but I sure loved this tv series (the name eludes me).

  • @lucripet hee haw

  • @ptalbany Thank you.

  • I just came across a recording of Ramona fiddling in the 1963 Shelburne Ontario fiddle contest....

  • Grandpa Jones was friends with the Delmore Brothers as you know and liked to cover their songs. This one the Delmores recorded way back in Sept. 1940. Thanks for posting.

  • Yes Ramona is talented. So was also Grandpa Jones.

Did you know that Ramona actualy is pregnant on this video.

Her hear is actualy black brown and she was much younger than Grandpa Jones. At last 20 year younger. Both are acting and are sminked up as old couple on this video. In the truth life they looked much younger than you belive they are on this video.

What is what I call show!

  • I got to fiddle next to her at a square dance a few years ago. That lovely woman fiddled me in to the ground! Terrific musician and I could not keep up with her.

  • I really wish there was more of Ramona. She is great. Thanks for sharing.

  • Super!!!

tnx 4 sharing this lovely couple.Great song too!

    gr from Holland.

    The Don fom Amsterdam.

  • Miss Ramona was WORKING that bouffant!

  • Great stuff. You can find true American music by the old masters on the internet, thankfully, but why are so few of today's artists recording it? I think it sells when they do, and it sounds great. Didn't Martina McBride's "Timeless" CD do well? I listen to it often, but maybe I'm the only one in the country who does. Anyway, I got that off my chest.

  • Ramona had true talent!!!

  • this is some good stuff.....I love it!!!!!

  • Thanks for posting Grandpa and Ramona. I really enjoyed seeing this. I knew Grandpa for a short while before he passed on. I met him at a Grand Ole Opry show in 1981 which I was invited to by Merle Travis and Tex Williams in Spokane, WA. We instantly became friends. He truly was a first class gentleman both onstage and off. Back stage he changed into a stylish suit and glasses and still remained Granpa Jones. Thanks again, Your friend....Rog

  • @MrRogermaynor That's a nice tribute, Rog.
