Not true. The English top four are stronger than the top four in Italy (Which are probably Juventus, Inter, Milan, and Roma), but the Italian league as a whole is stronger than the EPL. We'll have to see how Man City performs, but Mourinho himself has said Serie A as a whole is stronger. There are 5 strong teams in Italy fighting for the top 4. If any one of the big 4 don't make it in the EPL it'd be a shock. This is why Italian teams also do better in the Europa League. And I watch both leagues

Yes he is. When fans look at the "best player in the world" they point right to attacking players, players who score players, players who make goals, etc. etc. But what Alonso does is unique and he is the best at it. The only player that even comes close to Alonso's intelligence is Essien, who is also a quality player.
