  • any possibilty of a lefty, maybe a painted body and a neck?? Thanks

  • Ha ha, the one dislike is Ed.

  • Fun hobby

  • outstanding work! curious as to what the neck is. it looks like a really nice birdseye maple? did you make it, buy it, and if you bought it, from whom? also, what is the back profile of the neck; ie, does it emulate the strat, charvel, music man, wolfgang?

    thank you!

  • great job.what color red do u use and whats the best way to relic the body

  • great job.what color red do u use and whats the best way to relic tbe body

  • The red is nice, but the original white&black strip has a meaner look.

  • How much for one?

  • @The0fail0wears0prada between AU$1,600 and AU$3,500

  • ill buy a plain black and white one, how much?

  • I definently like this guitar better with just th black and white, how much would that cost me?

  • can i buy one off of you?

  • cost on the guitar without the d-tuna? thanks

  • @espltdguitarlover Edward sells d-tuna's for about $50. Cheers.

  • @EVHGUITARS4LESS yes i realize the cost of the d tuna.. i was inquiring what the cost would be to purchase one of the vh guitars that you build with out the d tuna. And do you sell them to anyone? thanks

  • @espltdguitarlover Sometimes, yes. The EVH stripe design is a registered trade mark - so I cannot "quote" you a price for that specifically. But to give you an idea, send me a personal message and I'll get back to you.

  • Great job man! Nice to get a look at the old old school frankenstrat

  • is that alpine white or olympic white?

  • @RevisedTV Neither. I've come up with my own version of "white" that looks correctly aged. Cheers. The white on the shiny looking (NOS) VH1 was done with generic white auto paint.

  • *Fap* *Fap* *Fap*

  • im actually making a guitar design its nothing like eds its like pretty much black on bottom white on top ive got the design looking like a massive rip going down the right side it actually looks quite decent but my actual question is have u done any design like that?

  • one for all:)

  • Do you sell these? If so I would be interested in obtaining more information.

  • what a beautiful.....plz give me thisXD

  • How did you wear down the wood like that on the sides

  • Simulated the dents and wear with various implements and abrasive materials, while closely studying pictures of the real VH1 and Frankenstrat.

  • no, i just think the replicas are a bit expensive but i don't know :D

  • Very cool man!

I have a GMW 5150 replica but now i want a Frankie too!

  • love the guitars, but a little high price!

  • What? When did anyone talk about price?

  • that birds eye neck is gorgeous

  • Wait till you see the necks going on the Frankenstrats!

  • i would love one of those but u know money

  • Why do a replica of the replica? All you have to do is fade the red on the elbow contour, find the right reflectors, and get the cigarette burns right and you've got a replica of the real thing.

If you want pics, shoot me a message with your e-mail.

  • Thanks dude - I don't know why I said that....I use a variety of reference pictures of the original Franky - starting back from when it was the "VH1". Thankfully, this has to be one of the most photographed guitars in history.

  • I haven't seen the one that Doug plays but it turned out pretty nice!

  • holy shit I want one
