This game was my childhood. i played it for years, and passed it like 5 times, i remember one of the luckiest and hardest moments was beating 4 riders at once and summoning the spirit of laharah ( at 0:41 ). Man, i would play it again i feel so nostalgic.. :((

@draculasservant1 this actually a secret quest U must go from the Murod fight. after killing murod, pick the tome from him. thats where you start. now go just outside his building and on its south side you will find a parchment, which is part the tome. when you get back to medeva you will need to find 7 other parts of the tome( parchements). After that you will enter a random encounter and.. well, its a long story. If you need more info just ask, i can't put it all in here.

I for one, don't want this game to be remade, I think it's perfect. Maybe one that keeps the style of the character designs (which whether or not they purposely made them look like ancient artwork) and keeps the campiness and slight B-movie quality.

Anyone knows from where can I download the loud drumming music of the original game? I think it played with title and during intense fights. Used to increase my blood pressure :) No other game or song has ever done it to me.

i just remembered this game, i got all the way to that guy who like turns into a angel or seomthing at the church, man this game was epic, i just cant believe i played this game so much in the past.

i would not touch it if i just saw it now.

If you mix the graphic ( that for the 2000 is really good ), the story, the music, the character, the buildings ( man, look to the Lenele Palace, hold on an artificial lake, or the Iona Monastery!!! )...well if you mix EVERYTHING in there is in this game, you will have to think that is one of the best RPG of all TIME!!!

Ah, and for the music, i saw in the credits of the game a name of a guy called Wally Shaw! Hope it helps!! :D

@PetruBecker4Rusty No way were the graphics considered good back then... it looked pretty horrible in fact, just look at those blocky character models! Still a great game, just not graphics-wise.

@PetruBecker4Rusty Graphics is just for Battlefield or CoD players or symply alls FPS players, id rather play a game with awsum story and character lvl system with shitty graphics than BF3 (mainly coz its by EA lol)

sigh... Id love to see a new chapter to this series. I would only hope they use the first rather that the second as a template. Just fix the loads, the at times retarded friendly AI, and let the monsters level up with the rest of your party.

There was never a soundtrack released i emailed volition over it as i love the soundtrack too so i just got all the music off the game so thats ya best bet my fave is Lennel market place really cool

All in all Summoner was just a brilliant game wicked story and soundtrack they should do an updated version lol

god what an amazing game. It blew me away.  Summoner 2 wasn't as good, the style was too science fictiony for me, I prefer the entire medieval set summoner 1 had. Don't get me wrong, Summoner 2 was a fun game and all but I liked the plot and play-style of Summoner 1 a lot more.

Personally I loved Summoner 2's gameplay, yet disliked it's story, moreso than the first game. Both had their charming qualities and am now reliving it on the PC. =]
