best best :) wen i did this, we have a scrim down with the pyjama game sign on it and me and my friend would always do a dance to the whole overture behind the scrim, THANKK GOD THE AUDIENCE DIDNT SEE US! haha it got pretty hot if u know wat i mean ;) hahaha, but amazing job :)
our school is doing it this year and the music for the pit orchestra is so hard!!! and i play first trumpet but you guys sound really good comared to us
we had our first rehaearsal and we just got the books today and the guy expected all of us to know what it sounded like! I never even heard any of the songs until today and he was going full speed and there are so many flats hahahaha
slow at box 3. i like the diversity between Trumpet 1 and 2. can really hear it. you have to be quieter at the eight note staccato notes at the section marked "lightly" on the 3rd page [for trumpets]
there's only so much you can do when it sounds fine during rehearsals and the mics are set differently. and i'm sure you know how much room is in the orchestra pit to move mics. and how much time there is to adjust sounds. besides, this is just a recording, live it sounded pretty perfect.
