hand wash your car, and never take it through a automatic car wash. use microfiber towels and nice towels to wash and wipe your car.

never use any brushes though, im pretty sure thats bad for your paint job too. but im not professional detailer.

In no way am I saying this is a bad car at all and in fact I love it.

Vtec is over rated to the extreme. This car pushes 197hp and a 0 to 60 @ 6.2 seconds roughly. For around $25,000.

Now I have a 97 GS-T eclipse. That car cost around 23k when it came out also and has 225hp and does a 0 to 60 @ 5.9

Is vtec really that great? I dont think so but, it is very pratical as far as reliablity and cost.

its a 09 civic, i got it around late 08. and yea i guess im pretty lucky. if u get a job im pretty sure u can get this car. u might have payments around 400 a month though for this car. u will have no problem doing 400 in a month if u worked min wage.

i actually have asked that before i bought the Si. i was trying to decide should i get the Si or the VW GTI MKV.

the GTI is more expensive then the Si and is about 400 lbs heavier than the Si. but the GTI has more cargo room.

i dont want to wave your opinion towards the Si because i own one, but u should take them both for a test drive to see really what you like! GOOD LUCK!

GTI Has more torque through the whole range of revs. To get more out of the Si you have to keep the revs up high to get the best out of it

Just don't do anything too insane like make it forced induction. That'll make the glasses drop when you bring it to the dealer. Anyway, I recommend you purchase a GReddy EVO2 exhaust, I have one on my '08 si 2dr and it sounds like sex. Planning to put on an intake some time in the future...you should definately check that exhaust out

the Mugen exhaust is an axle back exhaust. It costs more than a catback exhaust, which makes no sense as axle-backs don't give any performance. (ok, really little) Check out GReddy EVO2 videos on youtube to get a feel for yourself. The Injen MR...I really don't know. It's relatively new and no one I know uses it. I'm getting a short ram intake, as there is lots of snow where I live.

I just had the MagnaFlow Cat-Back system installed and I LOVE the sound/performance. The video I have on my profile doesn't really do it justice. In person, it's much more mellow and deeper. It's very subdued under "tame" driving conditions, but it really starts talking above 4000 RPM. No deafening drone at highway cruise, either. Highly recommended if you want sound quality for the new Si's - either that or leave it stock! :P
