I am a nucks fan, and I respect Thornton very much for his skill, but he can complain alot on ice, and when he loses his composure he does a lot of unnecessary things to hurt this team.

The Sharks really did improve a lot in the playoffs last year. But now I'm kinda glad Nabby is gone. As a Sharks fan I was never a real fan of him. He was good but was way too inconsistent and he never got us anywhere. At some point he always broke down in the playoffs even if the rest of the team is doing well. But it's cool, we got Niemi now and I'm very confident in what he can do.
As a Sharks fan, I love this. In game 4 against Detroit when Franzen went crazy, Jumbo started throwing his weight around and he pulled Lidstrom down after a play. I like when players play with "anger." I thought Ovechkin should've took a penalty on his first shift in Game 7 against the Habs, but Crosby shouldn't have.
@TheRealDerfMan Yeah, I think Crosby shouldn't have done that. Ovechkin hasn't won a Cup, I think Ovechkin needed to set a tone. Crosby's team knew what was at stake. But this Final didn't seem to have as much tenacity as last years(when the Pens won). I have only watched hockey for three years, but I was under the impression that after every dead puck, the players have a "congregation." This year it seemed friendlier.

I'm a Sharks fan and I've been saying for awhile that the Sharks have played "soft" the last few seasons, for whatever reason I still don't know. But after Game 4 against Detroit and the insane PIMs, the Sharks were pissed and fighting and that drive seemed to work to their advantage in Game 5!

As a Sharks fan, I love this. In game 4 against Detroit when Franzen went crazy, Jumbo started throwing his weight around and he pulled Lidstrom down after a play. I like when players play with "anger." I thought Ovechkin should've took a penalty on his first shift in Game 7 against the Habs, but Crosby shouldn't have.

@TheRealDerfMan Yeah, I think Crosby shouldn't have done that. Ovechkin hasn't won a Cup, I think Ovechkin needed to set a tone. Crosby's team knew what was at stake. But this Final didn't seem to have as much tenacity as last years(when the Pens won). I have only watched hockey for three years, but I was under the impression that after every dead puck, the players have a "congregation." This year it seemed friendlier.

I have a couple friends who are die-hard fans, plus two of my favorite young players in the game today are Keith and Toews. Plus, who in their right minds (except for maybe Leafs fans) didn't wanna see that drought end??? =)
But yeah, Niemi was amazing VS the Sharks. And, you don't win a Cup without great goaltending. Niemi deserves credit. =)
