  • Lisa I can't post this on Facebook but momma says happy 50

  • well all i have to say am a lead singer in a band that been all over the U S and there is not a thing wrong with drinking water in a gig of 100 or 100,000 people i love this guy 100%

  • Frankie sounds great. I love this song.

  • Thickos, he's not meant to be singing the middle part of the song. 'Dancers' indeed...

  • I went and saw Frankie Valli and the four seasons in concert a few years ago or so and though I think he did a great job at his age, cuz he can still really belt them out, he did have a back-up singer helping him with the vocals especially on the high notes. But all in all it was a terrific concert well worth the money to see him perform.

  • in his 6th decade and still sounding great--WOW

  • The best song to cruise around in your car with...

  • 77 years old now...he is one of the greatest EVER.

  • love frankie can still do it (with or without) water and another great one is dion he also may have water but hey ho i am not here to watch there drinking habits good post + cheers

  • What is he supposed to do during the break in the middle??? Stand there with his thumb up his nose?? Still a great show. Thanks for posting

  • The fact remains true...many a vocalist lost most of their gums long before they hit 70...Frankie seems to have held out longer than most with near his whole vocal range intact...very few performers who sing as much falsetto can lay claim to have done so...Roy Orbison comes to mind...no one else...these guys are classic legends of the music industry!

  • Classic Frankie. Truly a man worthy of being in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, as he and the original Four Seasons are.

  • He came to perform at North Central College where I work, this past October. No clue he was that old. I was really impressed he was able to belt out the high notes.

  • A drink of water ? Please. How could anyone say anything about something so normal. Go to his web sight and just look at the schedule he maintains. A man half his age would have a hard time. Saw him this week at 76 years old. Hope I'm in good a shape when I'm 60 !

  • I'd pay to be in the same ROOM as him, never mind watch him drink water or . . . even sing and dance a bit. The guy is a legend!

  • What a classic! I love the dancers in unisen....they are fab!

  • This song brings back so many wonderful memories! Love it!!

  • One of my all-time favorite songs!

  • I saw Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons last fall and it was the best concert I had ever seen, and I was in nosebleed seats. Can't wait to see him July 31 in Primm, Nevada again, and I have better seats. Saw the Jersey Boys in Chicago a couple of years ago, but nothing like Frankie Valli himself.

  • how about if he had stepped back stage and smoked a rock and then come back on stage geeking

  • wow good old frank is 72, and he is still kicking ass, i love this mans music.

  • i'm 32 and I would see him if he came to town.

  • i love frankie better then pizza

  • He's coming to Detroit in April 2010, I cannot wait to see this show!! I hope, like Tony Martin, he's still singing at age 94! PLUS

  • Frankie, you still ROCK! see you at Ruth Eckerd in Clearwater next month!

  • I like the animation by the bass player and guitar player in this video. They seem to be into it. The last bass player I got to work with stood like a statue!!!

  • Damn he sounds good to be 72. Classic song. Hell, before I was born

  • saw him last sunday. he was AMAZING<3

  • Saw his last Thursday night and he was awesome. Still amazing after all these years.

  • Love the bass player!

  • k im 15 and i remember hearing this song when i was little and i still love it now!! classic lol

  • classic song

  • did any one else hear the whistle in 'who's gonna help you mamma' ?

  • like herbert in family guy XD

  • Is it just me, or is Frankie starting to sound more and more like Joe Peci?

  • i agree

  • Wow, Great song, but the delivery!! questionable.......Did you see Frankie having a drink of water mid song.....while the dancers were holding the show!! - Not being mean.......I love him...I do....but not a great clip.............

  • haha, you have got to be kidding me right? the man is human, what's wrong with having a drink of water? people get thirsty. pretty sure you're joking me, but if now, you're an idiot. thanks for watching my video, lol

  • Snowbunybabe...Chillout!! Relax.. I watched it a 2nd time!...And I have the same thoughts.. When people post videos on youtube, its usually because they want feedback. Sometmes darling.. feedback isnt positive you gotta learn to roll with the punches...Also I think you meant to say "but if not" but you typed "but if now" might wanna turn your grammar check on! Your comment "I felt like a kid at a geriatric show!!! That I agree with. Thanks for posting the clip :)

  • I, actually agree with you. And to lushmud, going off on a grammar check? nice..

  • @snowbunybabe there's no way he's joking! it's his laxidazy attitude, he strolls over and gets his water. also, let's be realistic a bit. frankie always had 3 backups. if dude is too old, hes too old. have some dignity

  • @Donimusic seriously don, at what age is in inappropriate to grab a glass of water when you are thirsty? i've been to hundreds of concerts in my life and they all take a sip of water at one point or another. it's a human need, especially when using your voice like that for over an hour. i can not believe we are even having this discussion. i would be happy to listen to this man until he's 100+. have a little respect for your elders. he sounded great!

  • @snowbunybabe soundED great. I love frankie. its about the attitude. you are just protecting him because you are unable too see things objectively

  • @snowbunybabe artist when they get old become lazy and very cabaret , they seem to forget the original version what made everybody love the song to start with !! a classic example is eric burdan , the house of the rising sun . exellent original , but totaly butchered pensioner version !!!!!!!!!!

  • @snowbunybabe @Donimusic @lushmud im with snow on this one. theres nothing that says Frankie Valli cannot get a drink of water in the middle of a song. the man was 72 years old of course he needs water. its his passion to sing and he will do it till the day he dies but tht doesn't mean he cant drink water during a concert.

  • @Donimusic yep, there's an old saying in show business "once you need a drink of water, it's time to hang em up"

  • @snowbunybabe Nothing wrong with needing a drink of water... but - there is a thing called "showmanship". If you're not performing out front, you should be invisible (non-distracting) from the what is out front. Before I would fault Frankie, however, I would fault the lighting crew. It took them too long to turn the lights down.. putting the spotlight on the dancers (where the attention belonged at that point in the song) and hiding FV in the shadows with his water bottle.

  • If you were Frankies age, you'd need water too.

  • @lushmud at the end of the day the supporting cast are kareoke singers and Frankie is the real deal; a living legend having ave a drink of water is fine with me.

  • @lushmud Hell, when I do a gig, I might reach over and take a drink of my beer and then start playing slide guitar with the bottle. = {D >

  • Comment removed

  • @lushmud

It was part of the show for him to stand off to the side and let them do their little dancing number for that minute and a half (or less). There was no singing during that time, only dancing!! Too bad the camera guy focused on him when he needed to be focusing center stage. OMG that seriously ruined it for you??

  • @lushmud .... Did you miss the part about Frankie being "72 YEARS OLD"???

  • For me he still sounds the same as in the 70s!

    He's really good at this!

Tahnk you 4 uploading this vid.

    5 stars for it!

  • OOPS! Thank you for uploading this excellent performer!

    Franky 4 ever!

  • amazing singing at his age!

  • Don't be a douche, that's what the 4 Seasons are all about ...

  • This is one of the things that they are famous for, you doof. The older people like it and if you don't like this then GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND LISTEN TO THE SONG. This site is about VIDEOS and that is what this is. Take a chill pill and just enjoy the music.

  • this is so good. thankyou for uploading :)

  • i went to this consert!!!

  • I've seen them in concert a few times but the last was with these particuliar performers and they did Frankie Valli MUCH justice.

  • you're welcome. if i ever get around to it, i'll post the others i have too.

  • Thank you for sharing this video. I haven't seen Frankie in quite a few years. Used to see him perform at least twice a year in Vegas. He's one to the Best!

  • this is dedicated to the love of my life and the life of my love...Dr.Richard Rainwater.life just begun to get sweeter as you entered into it. You are a true prince among men.I will never forget all that you have done for me. I love you for your kind words and actions that you have taken over the past year since i have known you.I never thought that a woman could ever be so lucky as i....Sugar

  • well that was the oddest comment ever, who are you? lol

  • how come Bob Guadio and Tommy Divito dnt join him on stage?

  • The world, with all the shitty music today, is no longer worthy of such amazingness on one stage.

  • Hahahaha! Amen!

  • they dont tour together as the four seasons anymore. they only get together for big events and stuff

  • wow saw frankie at batley 1973

i had streaked hair those days

  • i was 6 years old in 73, lol. rock on :)

  • when did the 3 seasons retire from the stage

  • Saw Frankie and the boys Oct 22nd here in Minnesota at the Orphium......it was awesome. We were back about 6 rows....it was great..my friend got busted though for filming some of the concert, but it was worth it.....it was fun to see him sing and dance a little....hes still got it

  • omg he still got it. The show was really good it was on ice

  • reminds me of a quartet

  • nope, no cameras were allowed. i actually have more of these videos. i should put a few more up. i think this was the best one tho.

  • Thanks for posting this!

  • you're welcome. it was a great concert. wish i had been sitting closer. i got busted filming halfway thru the concert. i have a few more,i should probably put up. this one has gotten a good response.

  • You mean after all these years you couldn't shoot it? I still would go and see them in person if given the chance!

  • He sounds fantastic. The real Jersey Boy! :)

  • WOW ! 73 years old and still rockin' the house and sounding good !

  • I just got home from watching the jersey boys! twas fab!!! really loved it!!!

  • yah, it was awesome. i can't wait for it to come to my town again :)

  • wow "like that bunny on tv with a battery just keep goin and goin and goin" ahah

  • frankie still sounds great, all of the backround dancers and dancing gituar players i can REALLY do with out.

  • Yeah, I know what you mean snowbuny. I have a feeling I'm not going to like "the real Frankie" as much as I loved Jersey Boys either. I think it will just be very cool to look up on that stage and know that this is the real deal, ya know? :)

  • I'm seeing Frankie Valli in San Diego on July 25th. After watching this, I'm excited about the show! I've seen Jersey Boys 4 times, so I figured I'd like to see "the real thing!" :)

  • i actually liked the jersey boys better than the concert, lol. don't get me wrong, frankie valli puts on a great show, i just enjoyed the musical better.

  • i went to this consert!!!

  • I'm seeing him in August in Santa Rosa, CA! It's gonna be fun!

  • you will love it, if you haven't seen the jersey boys, i HIGHLY reccomend that show too! i may have to get tickets to that santa rosa show myself. i have family & old high school friends there.

  • Yes, I have seen Jersey Boys! I even own the coffee table book! I'm hoping to get Frankie to sign it!

  • ouch im in such agony my root canal is killing shit

  • I saw his show in Marin County in California and it was spectacular. He has surrounded himself with a talented group of musicians and dancers and isn't afraid to let them shine! The result is so much more than a concert, it is part Frankie and part Jersey Boys. Oh, What a Night!

  • LOL... Grandpa can still rock.. rofl!

  • LMFAO

  • Grandpa can still rock!

  • i love this song
