  • So the Christian collectives are worshiping a wood instead of a cross.

A cross is a symbol but more of a illusion but a wood of criss crossed.

  • @statuslow Sorry, i don't understand what you said. But... if its to suggest that Christians are collectivists, let me assure you that nothing could be further from the Truth. And Jesus IS the Way the TRUTH and the Life. The Lord Jesus came to establish an individual relationship with each soul. We are to love Him first above our own spouse, Him first above our own children. It's entirely about the individual. He does not save 'groups'.

  • I think we are all screwed. There is 11k views on this video. Couple hundred million on Justin Biebers new music video. Nothing against Bieber of course; good for him for becoming rich. This just indicates the mentality and fundamental value system of the average american. "Great spirits will always encounter violent opposition from mediocre minds." We have been raised and socially conditioned on TV to fit into their system of stratification and fail. We have little to no support. Its game over.

  • @remix03890 Yes. And notably... lets ask ourselves why we stay at this site when the very principles and people that made it a huge success have now been silenced by censorship and taken over by T.V. tactics, lamestream media and moguls?

  • people arnt thinking anymore, stupid people (majority of people) want all their problems to be taken care of. they give all the power to the government so they dont have to do anything, and just le someone else take care of it. people need to be educated!

  • Indeed! Please check out the other playlist on my channel of an interview G. Edward Griffin did of Norman Dodd- it'll blow you away and help illuminate how, why and who was behind the steep and deliberate descent into stupidity.

  • Also, please forward these videos to your list and help educate everyone you know on these important topics AND the fact that the Income Tax on ordinary labor of Americans living and working in the U.S. is not legal.

  • Ive seen that also. Very good. Are you farmiliar with myron fagan? Its from 1967 but its very accurate. Ive been trying to wake my Father up and he seems to be more receptive when older people are talking about the threat of collectivism.

  • No, I've not heard of Myron Fagan but I'll certainly check it out.

Ever since I was a kid I always enjoyed listening to elders talk about history and current political events. Unfortunately I should have minded them more when it came to discipline.

  • @Darkchaos1993 -People have been mis-educated, The Founding Fathers were all Esquires, agents of the Crown.

"The Constitution Con" by Michael Tsarion - and Gov has 2 sets of books cafr1/dot/com

  • @Darkchaos1993 I disagree. People are not naturally stupid, they are made that way by what they are taught "Don't think we (the State) will think for you." That is why Griffin says it is a symptom rather than a cause.

  • Groups need leaders to move through existance, qualified or not. Individuals don't. If the leader of a group maks a mistakes everyone suffers. If an individual makes a mistake, only he suffers.

  • Good leadership is entirely predicated on proven ability to show respect for the true strength of the group lies in the individuals freedom.

Good leadership arranges things in such a way where mistakes are buffered and or damage is spread out in such a way so as to harm the least number of individuals.

Individuals who responsibly choose a leader also take part in the decision making and thereby disbursing credit and debit in an apportioned manner.

  • The old man's a politician not a scientist.

  • Hence the catagory political science :-D

  • what id like to know is if both individualism and collectivism follow the philosophy of utilitarianism, in other words th greater good for the greater number?

  • I'm no expert on ism's but here's my take... How can the individual strengthening, providing for and generally caring for himself and 'his' ie family, NOT benefit those around him.

Conversely if he doesn't care for himself either he passes away or becomes dependent on those around him.

A key point here, in my estimation, is not necessarily how we function in our immediate sphere but what we ask federal government to do or not do on our behalf or on behalf of others (Robin Hood). Make sense?

  • The cause of every major evil is when people start believing and stop thinking or self-introspecting the ideas they have been led to believe in.

  • His argument is self-defeating when he says its a symptom rather than a cause. Ofçoure IT is the CAUSE. In the begining he said he believed in everything he was taught. The fact he came out of it.....he CAUSED his thinking to become better.

  • And I thought, king George III was a monarchist, which would mean he beliefed everything belonged to one individual, that is king George III.

How could I´ve been so wrong? LOL

  • Thank goodness for the foresight of Jefferson, Washington, Madison, Franklin and the rest of them, they are the essential reason why America is not a monarchy and it is one of the very few times in the history of humanity where it was rejected for nobler ideals (thinking of the Roman General who was offered the Imperial throne but rejected it to preserve the Republic).

  • What it then created was a greater ideal, a nobler ideal that made America the great experiment in democracy and freedom that it is by saying that rather than uplifting one man above all else we will uplift all people above all else in the sense that the greatest liberty that can be achieved is in the self determination of the individal towards a better society

  • But now, well we do end up promoting this big picture mentality more and more without understanding that its the smaller pictures, it's the smaller details that create it and if they are not moving forward together, one by one, then society can not move forward. In that we rob people of a sense of what they can achieve and how they can achieve it by their own power and abilities for something that is much more shallow and harmful for them.

  • Excellent interview. I am reminded of the scene in Monty Python's "Holy Grail" when the king approaches two (socialist) peasants, and of their movie, "The Life of Brian"... the struggle of individualism vs collectivism, & how misunderstood both currently are. The sad truth is that none of this is taught anymore, anywhere... An education consists of teaching one to Think, not What to think, but I find scant evidence of this anywhere these days.

  • If you enjoyed THIS video series you MUST SEE G. Edward Griffins interview of Norman Dodds... It will blow your mind! Please search YouTube for Norman Dodds.

Drop me a line to let me know your thoughts.

  • Very good lesson about why Government isn't the Solution. Freedom of choice make Humans aware of their existance. The will to make good things.

  • Also, a MUST SEE series of videos are Norman Dodds interviewed by G. Edward Griffin. Would love to hear your comments on those as well. Thanks freekrolk for watching and making a remark. Thumbs up!

  • Sorry about the tracking on this, i've uploaded twice in an effort to straighten it out :-( to no avail. It worked perfectly in two different players on my machine.

Oh well. If someone can do a better upload this series I would greatly appreciate it. Just drop me a line once you're done and I'll remove mine :-) Thanks for 'listening'.
