Zola is intelligent and well spoken. He actually knows what he's talking about. I enjoyed this video. We need more south african influences like him. Great job to who ever posted this video.
the only artists i would like to make a documentary about. i worked on his studio for 4 days and the brother actually reads, at the time he was reading hugh masekela's 'still grazing' and i got to realise how he cherishes personal development and the sense of community. he actually gave us 5 days on the studio for free and was very hands on and gave feedback on the short film we were doing, unfortunately we have less artists like zola.
mhh uyayibeka lendaba , very clear and powerful ,well done zola ,always know what to say ,thank you whoever posted this video ,,reminds me of home ,,miss SA somuch ,
Zola is seriously gifted i really hope all young people end up being as enthusiastic as him, that speech was so classy ..beautiful...he got words, humour and everything..he could be a great leader.. I am a Mocambican girl and most times of my life i go to SA and i have met Zola once in Sandton city mall and quikly spoke to him even my mother said he is a hell of a intelligent guy and i respect him..and i love his whistle
What is needed is an African History curriculum, even in Africa itself, perhaps even more so, because the prevalence of colonial history as a 'safe' alternative for centralized governments, as well as the obvious racism in South Africa (and I'm sure other similar countries too).
I found it odd as a black american i knew about Great Zimbabwe, Thulamela, and Mapungubwe; and it's relationships with places like Kilwa and Mombasa...but my South African friend knew nothing about it.
It's a sad affliction almost all black people in the world need to focus on and change.
uZola thinks just like me! we may come from less privileged backgrounds i.e, the ghetto, but we are proud of our history and we want to help raise our youth in a positive way. sho comrade, ola 7!
Academic accomplishments dont neccesarily guarantee one a good life ,common sense, vision, ambition and will power are the keys.Zola is the ultimate example.
ive actualy found why south african videos dont get much viewership on you tube, its our inability or unwillingness to SHARE information. we do not SHARE because we do not know the POWER of GIVING and NETWORKING and we think the little we have will be taken away, what a shame but IT WILL B OK 1 DAY
