Victoria's voice is neither soprano nor contralto, she has sort of a medium tone, so she balanced Geri and Mel B's low voices... She's sung in every spice girls' song, it's harder to sort their low voices apart, it's easier to id Mel C's voice and Emma's voice than the others'... But if you watch their concerts you'll see her singing with someone else, again balancing...

it was both of them, they did the low harmonies, whilst emma and mel c did the high ones and geri did the neutral, it's just the vic's voice isn't the strongest unless she's asserting it... which she has no need of doing when there are 5 voices harmonizing

I think she didn't get the chance. Most early Spice Girls songs focused on volume, which Victoria usually doesn't have. Geri, with her very limited range, was louder than Victoria so she go most of the parts Victoria would have sung.

By the time Forever came around, Victoria was thought of as nonsinging Spice and so she shocked people by actually singing really well.
