decent climb, but yeah, a safety climb? not that impressive. If you get hired to do REAL linework, you'll be climbing much higher, harder poles man. Reality check.
chill out i was kidding... i'm in school right now and we don't get to touch a bucket truck... and if it makes (canacius) feel better i thought that guy climbing was pretty good.. i was just throwing out a little humor cause we don't get to use them at school...
You obviously are not a real lineman or you would have known this.
Or you are probably one of the bucket baby variety who don't climb because it scares the shit out of you to even think of putting your tools on and getting on the wood.
You probably have a Journeymen Lineman sticker in the back window of your truck to remind you that you were one...once.
free climbing to me is easier and are school doesnt have fall arrest systems the highest one we climb is the 50

plus you need to remove the fall arrester

Northwest does not use them and they should. Had a few people get seriously hurt due to falls.

ahh come on... safety harness!?!?! whats the deal?real linemen don't wear harnesses lol
dom540 4 years ago
dom540 they aren't doing "real" linework. They are learning to climb (probably new apprentices) so a safety harness is appropriate.
