  • PEACE TO ALL THE GODS AND EARTHS

  • You guys know this is the main reason white folks, especially those jews in the music industry destroyed Hip-Hop. The Blacker it got, more they tried to destroy it. I remember when PE, X-Clan, PRT, & Brand Nubians push this African Center form of Hip-Hop. They were converting young Blacks like me by the dozens. I became a Muslim because of Hip-Hop! Remember Farrakhan in PE's songs?! Notice how empty & devoid of soul Hip-Hop is now. Done by design! The Devil's a conniver!

  • I'm letting knowledge be born.

  • Setrule, thank you for uploading this. It's true, this video and song deliver a very powerful, positive message that the 10% do not want the rest of the 85% to see. This song will live forever. I am 22 years old and hardly any of my classmates know about this stuff, it's sad. Anyways, keep the positivity, asalaam alakum.

  • love this song, thanks for uploading the vid. lol the dance routine from :56 - 1:00.

  • I wonder how many people are watching this, bobbing there head but, have no clue what their talkin about

  • @0403715 ...it's kinda hard to NOT understand what they are teaching here. However, if you are referring to their 5% doctrine in the lyrics, then yes, I can see that some might not understand some of the rhymes. BUT, the whole message can be understood by many people, if they care to listen to it closely. Asalaam alakum.

  • @SETRULE how do you mean its gonna get banned ?

  • @qmoney000 Do a search . this is the only version of this vid on YT. These are dangerous times and positive messages and vibrations are being deleted through their A.I. systems ..

  • Classic

  • you really have to pay attention to these lyrics

  • thank you

  • This was a time when rappers were preaching positivity and upliftment for black and really all poor people. You had a lot of rappers rhyming about the 5% philosophy and also social and political awareness in general. Now hip hop is just embarassing. All we got is Nas and maybe Jay Electronica

  • @hitmanhart670

for real what happen to the 5% nation? i use to love that shit, back in the day i went up to their school

  • @hitmanhart670

Well I do like the general Black upliftment vibe of the Five Percenters but like other conscious rappers they can hold some views on history, economics, politics, religion and gender that many may disagree with or question. This is what I think limits the appeal of many conscious or political rappers. I mean some conscious rappers advocate marxist views in their music which many people disagree with.

  • this song got me through many rough patches as a teen searching for education of self. i don't consider myself a 5 percenter however the knowledge was and is BOUNDLESS! Big up Brand Nubians!!

  • real hip hop.

  • its funny how people believe that there is some "God" in the sky that when you die going to decide if you go to heaven or if you go to hell....and they never stop to think that "God" is within' self...and that heaven and hell is right here on earth....Peace to the 5% Nation for helping me others like me see the simple understanding or "overstanding" of cause and effect....

  • Man i love this song...plus videos were so simple back then..........it wasn't a whole bunch of technology overshadowing the artist

  • i think i saw black sheep in this video

  • This song is the anthem god....

  • in memory of Malcom

  • Gives me chills to see this again... "move on Black man, move on..." That message was so important in those days...

  • its sad that will never ever hear this type of rap again

  • "gotta let em know the devil is a kniver" ...yall just dont know how much i feel that line

  • This song needs more hits spread the word yall!

  • man!!! i grew up on theses guys(like age 12) i always used to listen to them.. they are part of what made the early 90's so good!!

  • Wake up. A good song and a good movie line (School Daze)

  • they cut out the devil in the video

  • this track is so real...move on black man move on

  • when the black preacher was taken money from the 85% they didnt remove that part 10% but the devil removed the depiction of his part in the video given pork to the kids and drugs somebody feel me? yall remember dat video

  • the original version had a man with his face painted white with devil horns and the seeds had a bbigger roll they remade this video somebody upload that version hotep

  • all praises due to Allah ...

  • haha is that what he said? i thought when they closed up on lord jamar that grand puba said LORD JAMAR AKA SUPREME ALLAH! like his character in oz which was awesome and also i might add that sticky fingaz from onyx was very good in the shield as Kern Little

  • I Love this song, open my 3rd eye..

  • NOW THAT'S HIP HOP

  • HOTEP! And Peace to the Gods

  • damn, there can be tons of clips on this site with tyler perry in a dress, but not the original sunshine video with a guy dressed as a devil. madness.

  • @AvEryBadApPLe

    SPEAK ON IT GOD!!!!!!!

  • @AvEryBadApPLe people would rather see cooning

  • @1lifestyle yeah, obviously.

  • i dont know but,i feel like the government is paying the major lables 2 feed us nonthin but bullshit insted of letting us get knowledge of self..i got a plan!!!

  • That's exactly it. Either directly or indirectly through Record Labels, management & artists themselves hip hop has been infiltrated & the message of the people's struggle was replaced w/ messages of the Corporate sponsored pimpin/mackin/schemin/hoein/dealin/smokin/drinkin/sexin/strippin/killin/hustlin/clubbin/hood-street-jail-tails full of negative stereotypes & other mind control particulars- dumbassification of a Nation via mass musical communication "programmed" on multi media stations.

  • Dumbassification & negative stereotype reinforcing Societal conditioning of a Nation via mass musical communication programmed on media stations......................24/7 365..........check the dial.....even my conditioning has been conditioned.........

  • Word!!!!!! .......I was thinking about that as i was editing the sound.

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah, I see that you too was looking for the "devil" version. They had it posted once, but apparently it was removed.

  • @MuzikJunkyAES DAMN BEEN LOOKIN FOR THAT TOO. MTV BANNED THAT SHIT TOO.

  • @MuzikJunkyAES I was wondering the same thing,too.

  • @MuzikJunkyAES Damn! I want to see that version again too! They had it posted on here once and it got removed. I call it the "devil version". Also for you old school lovers, the samples used for this song is "Another Day" by Ray Goodman and Brown, and of course, "Everybody Loves The Sunshine" by Roy Ayers Ubiquity. Peace.

  • @kwkable11 The version that WAS up there was an amalgam of the preacher and devil versions, wasn't it? When it was on "Video Music Box," I don't ever recall seeing the preacher at all. Peace.

  • @MuzikJunkyAES All that I remember is that the original version had the white devil in the video and it was banned in 1990-91 from MTV and then came out the revised version, which I don't like. I don't want to be racist, but it is what it is. I liked the first version!

  • @kwkable11 damn i forgot all about that one..but i have it on tape im upload it..thanks

  • @MuzikJunkyAES Exactly. Peace.
