People need to understand that the purpose of remixes isn't (usually) to improve on the original. Rather, it's a way of showing appreciation for the original as well as creating a new way of enjoying the spirit of the original. It's not like you have to view music on some linear scale where it is either better or worse. Some aim to evoke different emotions and feelings than others, and songs with covers and remixes is a great example of that.

Remix put people in touch with a lot of good music, they are here to teach people and improve their musical taste and knolwedge.

Music needs remixes, it's really privatized nowadays - people need to stop also with this "I like it so it's good" or "that's my opinion and I don't care". Music needs to be shared and discussed! Is more than just entertainment.
