FUCK YOU PEOPLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!! AMERICA HAS BEEN DOUSING ALCOHOL DOWN PEOPLE'S THROATS AND SELLING LIKE THE DREAM TO BE FOR DECADES. DRINK YOURSELF TO DEATH ALREADY OR SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT YOUR PRECIOUS WATER THAT TELLS YOU YOUR A GOOD BOY. WAKE UP THIS IS BRAINWASHING YOU STUPID FUCKS. NOT AN AMERICAN ICON
I too remember these commercials, and I never tire of watching them, although I do not drink, I still feel they are very much apart of THE AMERICAN SPIRIT!!!
Back when Budweiser was a family owned, American company, Berry Farrell was handling the lines on the Clydesdales, and we had confidence in ourselves and our country. Its almost sad to watch it now.
@Dirtfire No, I don't agree at all. There are still the people, the Constitution, the will and drive to make this country great again. Mourning what was is just a goad to make it great again.
I REMEMBER THIS!!! God, I was a little kid, though, like 3 years old or something!
They showed this ad in the background on the TV in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind", which I think was made in 1977. They also drove a huge Ford LTD wagon in that movie!
In the film Close Encounters, when Richard Dreyfuss character is building a mock up of Devil's Tower in his livingroom, this advert is playing on the TV! Nice little jingle and Budweiser IS the best!
@tomtcf76 I remember that scene as well. I loved Close Encounters of the Third Kind. I hope no remake is planned. I used to have the original CETK t shirt back in 1977 and the chewing gum movie cards pack. They had a poster too which I owned at the time as a 9 year old.
I love it, and as I was born in 78, have never sen it before. First person perspective rocks, and thanks for posting it! It was like being there driving a six-in-hand, so cool

A classic! Also good to see a beer ad that doesn't have that stupid disclaimer telling us to "Drink Responsibly" at the end.

Mother was troubled that I used to sing this. Whether it was that it was a beer commericla or that I was singing in a soprano voice I'll never know.
