  • really good information, but would be better if we could see a view through the eyepieces themselves to compare visually; any chance?

  • When using a Barlow lense in conjunction with the 10ml eyepiece shown I get a lot of false colour and its very hard to focus. Is this normal, or should I be looking to upgrade this to?

  • So is it the smaller the eye piece the higher the magnification?

  • @IAreCrazyChris Hi there, if by 'smaller' you mean shorter focal length, then yes you're spot on. Clearly the physical size of the eyepiece is not the issue: we've got very short focal length eyepieces in our showroom that are the size and weight of a Melon! It's the FL (focal length) that counts, the shorter the eyepiece FL the more times it can be mathematically divided into the FL of the telescope and thus deliver higher magnification. Thanks for watching. JM A&NC

  • Great video once again.

  • Thanks for the information. I recently purchased a Skywatcher 150p with those exact two 25mm and 10mm eyepieces.

I was wondering what they were and how to upgrade.

  • Very good tutorial for a newbie like me. Thanks

  • Interesting that you released the video a couple hours after I received my upgraded eyepieces... :-)
