@dirtyrussians666 The Album is by a band (they were playing live on a float that followed just behind the Elephant and the 'Little' Girl) called Les Balayeurs Du Désert (translation from French to English: 'The Sweepers of the Desert'. The album is called Jules Verne Impact. I bought it from iTunes after seeing the show in London and Calais, Fab album!

It was made in France, i was there a month ago and saw the elephant and some of their creations.. its a city called Nantes, 2 hours from paris.. They're working on a huge mechanical tree at the moment as part of their city arts development program. pretty cool.. you can talk a ride in the elephant if ya want..

The spider is not part of the La Machine event ... that's a modern art exhibit that forms part of the biennial later in the month ... a giant web with LED lights is being suspended over one of the city squares with a giant chandelier in the shape of a spider hanging in the middle of it.
