  • Mac will never be a Personal Computer. Not because of build, laptops and netbook are also PCs! Its about Mac license. Everything you make on Mac belongs to Apple. Just read their "short" legal. Apple was LOLing M$ because of that, but Apples legal is simple - EVERYTKING BELONGS TO APPLE! YOU CAN'T SUE US! WE WILL SUE YOU!

  • @t1czer that's messed, now I'm really glad I bought and built my own system.

  • @SPACEDMADNESS42 It's a pleasure to make and see working yourn own PC system ;) Its personal all the way.

  • shitty ass camera man, and if your such a hard core gamer why the hell are u playing CODMW 1? WTF?

  • @360VideoDesign video uploaded may 5, 2009. video is from over two years ago, and the camera man was a friend who doesn't hardly even use a camera.

hardcore gamers don't always play 20 different games at the same time, duh. also the newest COD at the time was World at War, and it wasn't as good as MW1.

the list of things I can do besides play games on my PC is too long to post.

so STFUSS(SHUT THE FUCK UP SHIT STAIN)!

  • yea fuck you apple

  • @xMoDeDxMeRk all I gotta do is simply touch the non button and a couple minutes later it's all up and running. I can play 98% of all games at full texture and it runs smooth, I do audio and video editing, as well as creating fractal art work using 100% of the CPU and most of the ram.

Running Windows 7 in a raid 0 array, everything opens and loads really fast, it all works, no problems.

Yeah I ran a couple Linux setups before, they're okay. Not very user friendly for installs.

    Custom Built!

  • @xMoDeDxMeRk Mac anything is a joke, no really, not joking here.

My custom built rigs have a longer lifespan, no overheating due to cramped cases, plus lots of room to expand. Don't forget the bigger bang for your buck when you build a PC with windows.

all of my setups can run 24/7 365 with no problems. I had my i7 running two weeks after the i7 came out. it took apple another 6 months to release it in a system. I also had triple channel ddr3 at 1600FSB a year before apple users did.

  • YOUR GONNA DIE FOR YOUR OWN ARROGANCE. JK but still, for me it's really not about what framerate I can run Crysis at but the experience that I get with mac's including Apple's great support and most Windows PC vendors have people who can barely speak english help you find out how to fix your "shitty" little hp laptop but in this case you do know what your doing with computers and I do also but still, it's not even the computer at all, It's the operating system, and I know about the OSX86 project

  • @IpH0n3BIACH If I die I get to meet God, so it's not that bad. I don't care about frame rates. I do care about the price I paid for my PC, it would have cost twice as much from Apple. Plus I would have had to wait another 6 months for Apple to come out with the hardware. I got my i7 within two weeks of Intel released it. I built my computer and programmed it so I don't gotta talk to tech support unless something dies.

Evga is in California. I don't mind talking to techs, I've done if for years.

  • @IpH0n3BIACH btw I've been building systems from the ground up for over 10 years now. I don't like the generic look of Apple's computers, they leave no room for cooling either, so components don't last as long. Over all I got a better build then anything apple could have come up with at the time for half the price. Plus it looks really nice and it's got windows 7 in a raid 0 array on two 500 GB hard drives, and a thermal electric CPU cooler.

Check out the fractal artwork I make with it.

  • one word..........BootCamp

  • Nice Vid!

Personally i own a MacBook Pro and boy was it a fcuking rip of but i also have a PC and damn does it rape the fuck out of it for half the price! But i love both so no Mac vs PC for me!

    Keep it Up Man!

  • @ijoshtech you should see my setup now, this video is old.

    thanks for the honesty

    Peace!

  • I just jizzed a little when i saw that computer.

  • why?

    get a girlfriend

  • @santiagokof go fuck yourself with a x-mas tree shit stain

  • does the side panel of the cosmos s close with that V10 cooler? if yes did you mod somthn? please help

  • @laggr it didn't originally, I had to take out the side panel fan, it didn't fit by about a quarter inch. This is an old video, so you can't see the modded panel I've got now. I took a sheet of clear acrylic removed the dust screen, and mounted the fan a little more to the right, be careful if you do this, I forgot that side panel was super cheap and when I put the screws back in I drove them to far in and they went through to the other side(oops). I read about other people having that problem.

  • SUBLIME & BAD RELIGION FTW!!!

  • Well i got a nice Macbook pro and my self built gamer rig for two different operations.

Macbook pro for school and gamer rig for ye, gaming :)

  • Macintosh and WIndows systems are geared towards different people. Some people want an OS that 'just works,' some don't and want to tinker. Each has their pros and cons. However, you can simply bash a computer due to the price.

Most Mac Pros, for example, aren't made for gaming, they're made for work stations and more intensive operations. The same goes for Windows systems, it just depends on what you are going to use them for.

In the end, people buy what they want, so give it up.

  • @caseywtw give what up? who's fighting? did I miss something?

People have the right to be open minded. Sure, Macs are used for lots of things, more things are done on windows systems though. It's not an argument just a fact. In today's world APPLES and WINDOWS work together to get shit done. The CIA and NSA use custom built OS's that you can't get anywhere. Most of those OS's are LINUX based so are they in another group?, no matter what OS you use, it's still designed to compute stuff 01010001

  • Holy shit.

  • Im totally jealous! LMAO...thats a beast of a rig man, im glad i ran into your vid cause i was thinking of getting the cosmos 1000 and was worried about the v10 not fitting properly and also if it was too big for the x58 classified, and f*ck macs! they are totally over rated big time, custom builds FTW.

  • thank you for showing mac fags what a real pc can do.....i hate how they all pay thousands for their shit n compare it to a $300 pc from walmart, but whey you roll out something like this wit some money invested, they pull out the "well mine looks sexy''........yeah exactly you queers, go order yourselves another mocha from starbucks you fags...lol.....

  • @gonnaragonu lol, Thanks for the comment. It Sure is a bad ass rig. I have it on all the time using 100% of the CPU rendering complex fractal animations.

$300 dollar PC's RULE!, good for network rendering, CHEAP! You can get a dozen for $3600 be 20 times faster then that one Mac n' trash for $3600.

  • dude ty for showing these mac fags what a real computer is thumbs up :)

  • Mac pro worth 35,000 POUNDS fully customized shits on this thing and runs windows on parralels.

  • @SwarthyRevolutions lol, you paid 51,705 US dollars? I could have bought a really nice car for that much, unless you meant, 5,170 US dollars? I still paid less

BTW, what's your specs? so we can all laugh about them.

I upgraded since this video. I bet I've got stuff you can't even run.

  • @SPACEDMADNESS42 no i didnt but im just prooving you could easily beat this with a mac ?

  • @SwarthyRevolutions So I don't need to point out that I got the i7 before any mac did, look dude, I understand what you're saying, just as a side note: Custom built PC's are the way to go. Sure if I had a million dollars I could beat that, if you had a billion dollars you could, if I had a trillion dollars, you get the Idea, right? It's not about the price tag, it's the specs and the way you use a computer that determines the value of it. I use mine for a million things.

  • First off there is no i9, 2nd if intel decides to name the new cpu i9, there is no way in hell apples are gonna put them in their computers before a computer builder does. Fact is custom pc's are 100 times more stable and have better performance and prices than apple computers. The reason why i say stable is because most computer builders know windows os and dont get viruses. I built my custom core i7 pc and I have never even downloaded a virus protector for it, and its 100% clean.

  • @xalbokingx Same here dude! i didnt get a fancy case for mine. just an old emachines case, but what counts is what all you can cram on the inside of it lol. ive never gotten a virus (Except for my poor old acer aspire one..... :( he got some policePro antivirus automatically downloaded, and changed bios settings. now i cant even get into it...... :'( .......)

  • which LEDs did u use behind your monitor?

  • My friend is bullshitting on how the new mac is a 6 core i9 with a total of 12 cores (plus HyperThreading). What is your opinion on Macs (performance wise)?

  • If they preform the way you want them to no problem, I simply don't care for there OS, It doesn't preform as well as a custom built PC with Windows or Linux. The Price of apple software irks me! There's more people using windows, so more problems get fixed because your customer base is larger.

Tell your friend Intel is the company to thank for that i9, not Apple.

  • Overclock your CPU. No point getting such a nice CPU and let it run at 60% of what it could actually do with a little time and effort.

  • Gay.

  • @treemagnet88 is the king of gayness

  • You got horrible deals if you payed $3300 for an i7 setup and didnt get the extreme, also that quadcore setup had HORRIBLE specs for the 3 grand price tag, i got my quad core setup that has better stats (except mine has 8 gigs of DDR2 instead of 4gb of DDR3) for half the price.

  • @Adrenalinejunkie1096

that was 6 months ago dude, plus I got some limited edition parts, such as the MB and Vcard.

the quad core setup was about a year and a half ago. LOL ddr2 is not better then ddr3 at 2000fsb

plus the setup also has limited edition parts. when it was new it was top of the line.

Maybe if ya like getting: the cheapest crap you can find to build a PC and then slapping an overpriced CPU into the mix of crap, to make the biggest bug filled mistake you've ever made. go for it.

  • @Adrenalinejunkie1096

If I got that i7 now I would have paid a $1000 less then I did, and that would be without limited edition parts.

It sure is nice having 6 gigs of triple channel DDR3 at 1600FSB with my hella nice limited edition GTX295 with two DVI's and An actual HDMI port, that's right no adapter for that HDMI, That means I can run three screens at once, and with my very nice Thermal Electric Cooler to keep my CPU below room temp my rig is stable as hell.

  • way to waste your money on computers that aren't even good...

  • These computers are better then any prebuilt junk you'd find in the store.

A waste would be paying 6 grand for only 3 grand worth of tech. These rigs are custom built masterpieces. They have much faster performance then anything you've got.

You cannot beat custom built rigs.

Oh wait a sec, your 18.. you posted a video of a crysis demo recorded with a demo of fraps on a really old GF6700? How weak!.

Dude you're stuck in the past. I beat Crysis at full rez on my GTX 295.

    Get a life.

  • @SPACEDMADNESS42

Its not my main computer. I have a better computer. Oh and I should get a life? I'm not the old dude bragging on youtube with 3 freaking computers in his stinking "man cave" where you spend your whole day.

    Oh yeah, if u didnt know. Ps3 + 73" Plasma= FTW

  • I'm only 23, plus I own the last computer in this video NOT ALL 3, second that's not even my house, third, I've got a life.

LMAO a PS3?, just my graphics card alone has better specs then that, a 73" plasma sucks ass, try hooking up three 55 inch LED's and spanning your game across that, oh yeah I can also edit videos with my badass gaming rig, can you do that with your PS3? I thought not. Oh yeah, I forgot to add my G27 racing wheel and G19 keyboard, plus the 2.5 tb's of space I've got.

  • @SPACEDMADNESS42

oh if its not ur house that means ur a hobo. Well thats cool :]

  • Not a hobo, I'm at home right now.

  • did I forget to add that I've got a whole huge heap of knowledge about tons of subjects?, and I don't care what you have to say because I've got better things to do with my time then text to some stupid ass who has no clue what he's talking about.

On a scale of 1 to 10(one being weak - ten being kick ass)

Your PS3 is a 1, and my kick ass gaming rig is a 10.

    Good Day To You.

  • @SPACEDMADNESS42

Great comebacks. Really. And I have a gaming rig, just that is A) Way better than yours and B) Cost me $1800. Now that's more like it.

And have a good day burning your fat by typing on your keyboard.

  • LMAO, Is that the only comeback you've got? 1800 for a better computer? lmao, you're a stupid ass that doesn't have a clue. your gaming rig can only game though, yeah, see the difference there? My rig can do anything I want it to, including making me lots of money, so how are them apples.

If you think your PC can beat mine post a video and list in detail all the specs on it and read some reviews on my hardware compared to yours!

  • I built my PC 6 months ago when stuff cost more and there was no 2gb GTX 285, your computer and mine are both out of date because they've got new stuff out now, like USB3 and SATA3 and even faster ram, I saw triple channel ddr3 at 2600+ FSB.

  • My costs:

    MB 500+ CPU 290+ GTX 295 580+ tower 200+ ram 350+ HD's 130+ PSU 450+ TEC CPU COOLER 135+ 4 sythe 133 CFM 120mm fans 40+

    sythe fan controller 25+

    DVDRW CDRW 25+

= 2725 plus tax and shipping

so about 3 grand 6 months ago.

  • they are fast, no joke, but not big enough for my needs.

I've got two 500gb wd, one external 500gb and a 1tb external. and I still don't have enough space.

  • well that's a nice rig, just to let you know I've got a thermal electric CPU cooler that's much better then water cooling cause ya don't gotta worry about leaks or changing fluids, or overheating. I never said you had an apple.

  • SO, we both agree that the mac is on crack!

  • @SPACEDMADNESS42

Yes, of course. I've owned an iMac in 2005. LOL it was the crappiest machine I've ever used!!! It's made for 5 year olds

  • you could get an 8core macpro for $3000

  • a crappy system.

  • how is it crappy its intel just like your computer is and they are probably going to be updated to the core i9 when that releases and that would blow your i7 out of the water and up its own ass

  • LMAO, you can't use the logitech g27 racing wheel with a mac, there's no drivers, or supported software for it. Plus in a few years I could always upgrade.

Comparing a system to an out dated system is stupid, PC users have all the new hardware to start with, Apple is always stuck a few months or sometimes a few years behind in releasing new stuff.

  • is that why the mac pro was the first computer to use the nehalem processor, and probably will be one of the first to use the i9, and u can just install windows on it since you would have to buy windows anyways if u built your own computer, and anyways you sound like a real genius complaining about drivers for some stupid toy

  • lol, dude, custom built is custom built, you can't get better then that. why would I want to install windows on crappy hardware like that? You gotta buy a raid card just for raid, My Motherboard already has that option built into it's 10 SATA ports. Hardware wise I've got a mac pro beat any day. The g27 racing wheel isn't just some toy, it's like driving a real car, and with it's $300 price tag it's not for kids. Apple is pre-manufactured junk with no style or class.

    You lost, don't bother me.

  • crappy hard ware is that why if you go on geekbench and look at their top scores right after some small super computers its just macpros for the first 5 pages and then finally some pc thats overclocked to 4.2ghz

  • @DtCKclan

it's all about user preference dude.

I prefer high end custom built gaming rigs that aren't cramped to all hell, without spending an arm and a leg. I hate Apple's OS.

Trust me dude, the systems your talking about would cost a good 12 grand and you'd still need to buy software after that.

I got stuff more advanced then what apple even had at the time, LE motherboards don't come in mac pros

  • @DtCKclan dude you are an idiot, macs are for morons with no life. pcs are more powerful, more customizable and windows beats macs in the ass

  • @DtCKclan How crappy are Mac's going to be when Intel releases its line of 32nm processors in a couple of months and you can't do anything about but buy a new mac because you can't remove the cpu from a mac. But SPACEMADNESS42 built his computer so all he has to do is buy the new cpu and pop it right in his computer and he is up to date unlike your Apple out dated hardware.

  • their are comparison of the core 2 duo and the i3 and the duo is better so no and how does new technologies just make something a little older crappy

  • lol, dude, the i3 isn't even as good as my i7.

The reason why new tech makes old tech crappy is the hardware advances we've made. It's clear that is the way things work in the computer world.

My Motherboard tells me if there's anything wrong with my hardware, a self diagnostic tool which is really a time saver for any tech. Does Apple have anything like that?

  • no shit the i3 isnt as good as the i7 XD do you no anything, the i3 is a dual core

  • LMAO, dude, I know more then you might think.

  • @SPACEDMADNESS42 then why are you comparing an i3 and an i7

  • why were you compairing a core 2 duo to an i3? you know that older 775 socket boards don't go that high in specs compared to a 1155 socket motherboard?

a 1155 board has sata 3 and usb 3, the first 1366 boards didn't have that.

  • @Jay4justin You was right! ;)

  • @t1czer I'm always right. :p

  • @DtCKclan As a side note, I could always sell my CPU and buy a new one, STUPID COMMENT OF THE DAY AWARD GOES TO THE CLUELESS MACFANBOY, HA HA!(Nelson Muntz) Points finger

You see, there's always the thought of, oh hey wait a minute here, why does apple stay a few months behind, Apple didn't even have the i7 when I got mine, so what makes you think that PC builders wont get the i9 first?

We will, and it will be glorious!

As to why I think PC's are better, I Custom built it the way I wanted.

  • @DtCKclan You're stuck with the choice of one MB, I have thousands to choose from, Hell if I wanted, I could get a server board and build a server myself without having to pay someone else to do a crappy job at cable management. You get a much better system built if you've got no limits on the number of different parts that are available to you. Hell, I looked through 40 different MB before I got the one I have now.

Does that make any since to you?

  • @SPACEDMADNESS42 kinda and i just want to say im not trying to dis your or any other custom computer because im replying on my own computer i built a few months ago

  • @SPACEDMADNESS42 TY for pwning this macfag several times...

  • @LonelyOctopusKlan lol, NP

  • @LonelyOctopusKlan face palm

  • @DtCKclan theres no i9

  • @lVleSHuGGA it's in the works google it

  • @lVleSHuGGA thats was before they released the i7 gulftown which everyone thought it was going to be called the i9

  • Comment removed

  • lol you tell them man I'm with you i have a nice pc to but i don't just use it for gaming i like running programming software from school and use virtual box to test out other OS systems and it's a server lol.

  • all my computers are macs but i got to admit this is sweet and yes @ yy4cmm mac are for all the creative stuff. and pc's are the best for gaming

  • Nice setup man, i agree with you, macs are good for graphic designers and stuff, i cant lie, but PC's are way way better for gaming, im building myself a pc with this specs:

    mobo: Evga X58 Le

    cpu: intel core i7 920

vcard: nvidia gtx 260 core edition

    psu: ocz gamerxstream 700w

ram: 6 gb corsair triple channel

    cpu cooler: cooler master V10

HDD: 1 TB (dont remember the brand)

    case: CM Storm Scout

trow a mac to that, im sure cant beat it lol

  • I'd like to see it after your done, sounds like a good build, how much are you spending?

  • this set up sucks

  • This setup rules the world in online gaming.

    You suck!

  • HA you have to run windows on it YOU INSTANTLY LOSE.

  • you instantly have no Idea what you're talking about, I could run ANY OS I want, even OSX(with a little hacking).

  • If you can buy a Mac Pro two 2.93GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon, 32 GB of RAM, 4 TB of HD, 4x NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 512MB and put two 30" Apple Cinema HD Displays on it. That pretty much gives you a way better gaming performance than you'll ever get with on your 19". Even though it's expensive you can't that a Mac doesn't beat this.. lmao on that, son.

  • lol, 4 gt120 ? lol how stupid can you get, I've got a gtx 295 with 1789mb of video ram with this one cards I can hook up two DVI's and a HDMI. That's 3 screens. If I went all out I could have 11 50inch LED or LCD screens with 3 gtx 295s and a physx card. On top of that I've got the tri channel ddr3 at 1600FSB. and I've got that really nice cooler master v10 that chills the CPU below room temp.

You would end up paying about 12 grand for what you just said It's not worth the over inflated price.

  • that's true.. mac is just for the people who dont know anything about building a high end computer. a waste of money and sheet.

  • are you ok?3gtx 295 in sli is not gona work..

  • I called evga and asked them about it, it works alright, you gotta have the right motherboard.

  • lol it does 'work' but it doesnt increase performace. the card is just doing nothing. 2x dualgpu sli is the max (quadfire). you cant hectafire yet.

with single gpu cards the max is 3 + a physx card.

  • lol, it depends on how many displays your running, The GTX 295 is a dual GPU card that has the option of running one GPU per DVI. So if I wanted to hookup say 6 LCD monitors you could span windows or a game across all 6 screens and use one GPU per screen.

That leaves you with blazing fast performance on every screen.

Notice how much easier a dual GPU card runs 2 screens compared to a single GPU card running 2 screens.

  • agreed macs are just shit with a hefty price tag, now, i wish i could keep my old rigs but oh well lol, nice setup i hope to have that many computers in my room in the futurs, cheers to you

  • u also would need about 16 grand

  • yep, this is true. If you tried that with an apple you would be paying 26 grand, oh yeah that's right, apples can't get that good.

  • You can get a DUAL Quad (yes twin 4 cores processors) up to 3.6GHz, 32GB of RAM, 4 PCI E slots, 4 Hard Drives / SSDs

But yeah, price is out of the count.

BUT you can get an i7 iMac, with a built in 27" screen (2560x1440, odd res ah?) for like $2200, with 4GB (upgradeable to 16GB) ram and a 1 TB (upgradable to 2TB) hard drive included. PLUS a comparable monitor (30") is like $1500 so this is a GREAAAT DEAL.

PLUS, it comes with Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6) not Windows vista sp3 (mean WIndows 7)

  • lol iMacs are a joke dude, you can't even have a GTX 295 with one. Plus all Macs are pointless to me. I can't help it if they don't support the stuff I wanna run. Like the new Logitech G27 racing wheel I just got, or the cooler master V10, or the triple channel DDR3 at 1600 FSB, or the 12 USB ports of which I use 6 to 8 at all times, or the 10 SATA ports in a raid configurable format( two of which are external SATA) well anyways the list goes on and on. Besides I build computers anyways.

  • They have bad airflow as well.

  • People flock to the Mac because of its amazing operating system and its looks. Personally, I LOVE macs, and I own 5 of em, but for gaming, you CAN NOT beat a hardcore PC setup. Its infinitely customizable plus, u can build one your self for as much as half the price. I LOVE PC Gaming!

  • now that's the kind of comment I like to hear.

  • Why would I want to pay someone else to build a generic computer when I repair, customize, and build them already. That would be like an electrician paying another electrician to do his job at a higher wage then what he makes. I really don't care if other people use macs, I just like to rub it in there faces that they got ripped off and anything custom built is gonna be better then anything generic like a mac. lol a 30 inch costing 1500?

    NEC Display Solutions LCD4615 Black 46" 1080p $1,479.99

  • HP LP3065 Black-Silver 30" 12ms DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor w/ USB2.0 & Height Adjustment - Maximum Resolution: 2560 x 1600 $1,139.99 My point is, you can get any other brand of the same or higher quality product for less then what APPLE charges A = Always P = Profiteering P = Peoples L = Living E = Energy M = Most A = Annoying C = Computers Good day to you!
  • nice setup

  • my pc is better

  • you have a video of it?

  • I bet a mac couldnt beat a i7 975 extreme with 24gbs of ram 4 video cards and 4x 2TB HD

  • you betcha

  • well in ram it could but not in anything else and it would run you about 10 grand more then an i7 975 with the x58 mobo and 3-way sli evga 295,s and a 9800gt for physics and windows 7 so macs can now just suck it

  • I like your living room:p

    Are the 3 pc's yours ?

  • it's not my living room, it's a friends, only the i7 is mine.

  • Sweet Stuff man!!

  • wow, what a nerd! who pays that much for a computer just to play games? i suggest you get out more. a computer is a tool for production, not a play-thing

  • lol, I don't play very many games these days because of work. HVAC is a hard job. only one of those pc's is mine.

  • Thanks for input spacedmadness42, I just ordered the evga gtx 295 co-op superclocked edition. And i would get win 7 as part of your triple boot when it comes out, the RC is pretty good. Or maybe ubuntu (fast but don't know how much it supports) just a suggestion!

  • no problem, I was thinking about win 7 or maybe ubuntu already, lol.

  • If your ever interested in selling one of those puppies send me a message :D

  • lol, I could build you a new one if ya lived in sonora, California.

  • Nice rig bro, question how are your temps with that evga gtx 295? I want to know if its better to just get the evga co-op edition for my beast.

Note: I like custom built and mac..but you can always make your custom built a hackintosh anyway LOL!!! Get the best of both worlds I say.

  • lmao, "hackintosh".

It does well for the most part, some games I can't -play cause I don't have vista, got XP 64bit pro right now, just got a new 1tb hard drive the other day so now I can reformat my two 500gig wd drives, and then I'm gonna set them up in raid 0. Gonna go for a triple boot, I'm gonna use: XP 64bit pro , vista 32bit, and maybe linux if it supports my hardware.

Currently I can't say what the temps are, because I don't have 2 screens hooked up right now, got it in multi-gpu mode.

  • boths cards are really good cards, this one has been discontinued because it's a limited edition make.

I just got off the phone with evga customer support and they said that any gtx 295 can sli with this one, even the co-op edition.

So that's sweet, but it's really hard to find this one.

those high end cards idle between 50c -70c, and run between 80c - 90c at load, Video card temperatures typically range from 40C to 80C.

    I hope that helps out.

  • I was going to get a Mac, but then I did some research. Macs are too damn expensive.

  • Nice setup. The only thing I would do differently is run the OS off of a smaller but faster Drive. What I've noticed is everything except the OS benefit from RAID0. Although performance loss is really only noticed in a benchmark

  • so true, a smaller drive would be good for speed, but only down to about 250 gigs, any less and you won't have enough room for your programs.

  • spaced pwned jtx5 apple=crapple for games

  • an imac for $1100 is equal to that without viruses

  • so not true. An imac is really weak and couldn't handle the stuff I do, just my video card alone beats the crap out of an imac.

check it out, Apple can't even get stuff as fast as my EVGA GTX 295, they only run up to the GTX 285.

Plus I know how to operate windows computers, and I know by specs alone that macs are over priced junk.

admit it dude you've lost, imac's are a joke.

  • Well you said you paid $3000 and $3300 for your pc without software, keyboards, mice, A mac pro for $3300 come with software, keyboards, mice, and has an 8-core 2.26GHz and 6GB DDR3 Ram

  • lol, that mac don't come with a 2.66 i7 though , and it don't come with 6gigs of tri channel ddr3 at 1600FSB, plus you don't get the GTX 295, and the two 500 gig hard drives, and the Thermal electric cooler that keeps the CPU below room temp at idle, and gets to a max of 107F at full load while it's 90+ in the room. On top of that you don't get two e-sata ports and 10 usb ports and the dual gigabit lan, and a 1100watt power supply that's setup for tri SLI.

Trust me I look at apples website too

  • Actually, the base $2500 Mac Pro does come with a 2.66GHz i7; it's the more expensive Xeon Nehalem.

  • LMAO, Apples are still junk stuck in the past crap. there base line mac pro doesn't have a GTX 295 or 6 gigs of ddr 3 at 1600fsb, I can do raid without getting a oober crappy raid card, and I can run way more hardware then you. FACE IT, CUSTOM BUILT IS THE BEST. BEATS MAC ANY DAY.

    best bang for the buck.

  • You don't know what you are talking about. When you buy a mac you're buying an Okay computer and spending too mouch on the pretty silver color and the apple emblem

  • lol, apples are junk

  • Just so you know I dont hate pcs, i have 2 of them. I use mac and pc and linux. Each one has problems and downsides, but I just prefer to use a mac

  • on top of all that you don't get an HDIM port with two DVI's so you can't hook up three screens to one video card.

I personally don't care if people use macs, I simply hate it when they don't know there specs and think that there mac is better then my PC. Lets face it here people APPLE is not top of the line, in fact they are still in the past, you can't buy a mac as good as my PC for the same price, you would end up spending 6 grand to get a mac that would still be lower in specs then my pc.

  • kid your cumputer is only as good as the operating system lets it be

  • Hey asshole, I ain't no kid. Your computer is only as good as the person who uses it, the OS doesn't matter if the user fucks it up or they don't know how to use it.. I can do anything I want with a PC. I build them and I do over the phone tech support, plus in the field tech support, so stick that mac where the sun don't shine! In a recycling plant! Get that crap outta here.

KID? ROFLMFAO, you've got no clue how wrong you are!! I'm 22 and I don't take anybody's shit! DON'T FUCK WITH ME!

  • haha my mac can beat that

  • LMAO, your mac can't beat it. cuz I've got better specs, my ram is 600mhz faster for starters, and I've got the gtx 295 which is better then that 285 which sucks ass on specs, My motherboard lets me hook up 3 GTX 295's and a separate physics card, and on top of that I saved 6 grand. I've got that new i7 and you don't.

So how is it your old crappy mac beats something with higher specs. It doesn't beat it, so you can admit it now if ya like.

Or stay blinded by macs failures.

  • that crap costs 7800$...YEAH When YOu FuCkInG PIG FLY!!!

  • Talk about a retarded apple user, ROFLMFAO!

  • no fucking wonder u didnt show us your face

  • why's that?

  • why's that?

  • fuck macs =))

  • what were your temps on the i7 with the ultra chill tec

  • lol, the ultra chill tec won't fit on a LGA 1366 socket.. I've got a cooler master v10 on that i7, right now it's at 19c, at full load it gets to 38c.

  • Thx for telling me, because at compusa the ultra chill tec comes with a socket 1366 bracket now so i just assumed

  • well that's bloody nice of them to update there products ain't it. I built that pc about 8 months ago when there was no such thing as a LGA 1366 socket bracket for that cooler.

  • o men u have 3 focking 3 systems i have nothing i have a focking familie computer and i want only 1 acer aspire m7720!!

  • Only the last PC is mine, the other two belong to a friend.

  • ye the best one!!

  • lol

  • lol PCs ftw! i built mine on a budget, it was like 400 bucks, but i got a gtx 260, 4 gb of ram, a pentium 4 processor (sadly, my friend gave that to me for free) 3.2 ghz, and a 50 dollar mobo. Which i could afford more. Btw where did u get the money to buy that beast? i wanna build real bad, but i barely had enough to make my 400 dollar computer...

  • I build computers and fix them, plus I got a loan from my dad, for about $2,500, I have already paid off $900 of it, or something like that.

  • OOOO i have three computers to bad you only can play one at a time

    such a waste of money

  • OOOO it's too bad I don't own two of those, if I did I could network them all together and make some bad ass fractal art.

  • I own the last one, the i7.

Try to remember that people take there computers places so they can have lan games, or in my case get away from my crappy dial up that I'm stuck on right now, you wanna see my pc at home, watch my most recent video.

And it was not a waste of money. Apples are a waste of money, I saved 8 grand building my own pc.

  • Nice :D

  • RE: CrazyJimKU

Think before you talk next time...

  • if you call macs gay, you are calling pcs gay...Mac is just like a PC....but whats different is the OS...

  • lmao, the OS, the price, the look, and the fucked up employees, LMAO, I was working for a guy who works for apple, he's in upper management and went all over the world doing stuff for them, he's a dick though, I gotta say he's gotta an annoying personality which is most likely why they sent him over seas to work, as a rep. In the end my point is, MACS ARE GAY FOR HAVING ASSHOLE EMPLOYEES WHO EXPECT EVERYTHING FOR FREE! It makes me sick! FUCKEN ASSHOLE HAS NO FRIENDS!!

  • I completely agree with you, I hate apple
