actually jaco is nothing close to being amazing, he is famous for being the first person to develop melodic bass lines, and play decently. if you have played for 3 years u can play all of his stuff with the same technical proficiency.

Marcus thought differently about tempo, it's no suprise while drummer is hitting two thousand times per second. But he should get it from guitar intro, it's definetly his fault. Still Teen Town is a flawless piece.
You're right. Miller's my fave bassist ever, but he's still human. He rushed it and then fell off the horse. Once he gets back on, it's great, though! It's amazing enough on The Sun Don't Lie, but at this tempo... incredible!
Love to see/hear Hiram Bullock on it, awesome, those drums just drive

Marcus is good, but Jaco's rendition is much better. I think the slap kind of ruins it, but that's just me. I really dig Marcus, but Jaco was Jaco.
