  • Very nice !

  • So moving and spiritual!

  • Being Iranian has brought me a lot of pain and trouble BUT,

being able to understand Molana (Rumi): PRICELESS

    PAYENDEH BAAD IRAN

  • The sweet smell of rose is coupled with it's thorns...a verse from Omar Khayyam

  • Great voice and fantastic conductor...

  • Long live the mighty Iran, the greatest place on earth and the mother of all civilisations.

  • @1am1ped It actually isn't the "mother of all civilizations". Mesopotamia (I think we call it "beynol-nahreyn") and China deserve credit for that....so much for historical accuracy.

  • @meeter sorry how is china the mother of all civilisation? Mesopotamia played a vital role but Iran's reach went far beyond its borders. Hence why it is called the mother of all civilisations!

  • @devoneh Yeah, just because some places are called the mother of all civilizations, does not mean that it's correct. THe Egyptians also call themselves the mother of civilizations. So who does one believe? Neither. To state the very obvious, it's pretty naiive and self-serving to just believe people. Look at the scholarship and research.

  • @meeter Egypt, Persian, Romans contributed vastly to our world, china? What did they contribute? Domestication of animals and plants come from the Middle East region like Goats, Sheep, corn etc Tea if you are going to mention comes from India and China, rice 3 regions India, Thailand and China!

  • @devoneh First of all, obviously beyond Jared Diamond's book (Guns, Germs and Steel) you obviously are quite limited in terms of your knowledge. Your comments are slanted against East Asians and are based on classical ignorant Western views based on racial heirarchies. You obviously do not know what you're talking about and you're making assumptions. Pick up a book about China and read it instead of making things up.

  • @meeter interesting, so now you make assumptions, I do have Jared Diamonds book and did attend one of his lecturers in my undgrad studies in archaeology. By the way I specialised in domestication of plants and animals. Later I specialised in Iranic migration and currently working on a proposal to do an ethnography on Iranian jews, but silly me I obviously know nothing. I mean the papers I did on Chinese archaeology was all a farce!

  • @meeter I have been to china and seen chinese artefacts, the terracotter of emperor Xin, the artist who created it were Iranians... imported from Persian... Rice was domesticated in Southern China, Thailand and India all at the same time, Tea both China and India, Marijuana both India and China however the one that gets you high is from India taken through central asia into europe by Iranic tribes but yeah I am sure some how China played a major role that no one has ever heard of but you!

  • @devoneh That's ONE thing and I am not talking about rice and tea and marijuana. You are ignoring the other evidence on purpose. Your knowledge is based on common public opinion and hearsay not on research and scholarly work. Actually many other scholars have spent their lives studying China's vast contributions.

  • @devoneh Mesopotamia and Persia certainly contributed, but China has contributed technologically and innovatively in a far greater way than those two. I look at facts and history and I do not simply believe what makes me feel good.

  • @meeter ok what technology do you claim came from china that was innovative and changed the world? Agreed maybe Mother of all civilisation might be much but over 70% of what we have including technology, science, philosophy etc comes from Iran. Before Mesopotamia we have the burnt city, Elam.

  • @devoneh Where did you get the statistic that 70% of all technology, science and philosophy came from Iran? Did you make that up? That's preposterous, ahistorical and completely idiotic. Philosophical and scientific ideas were passed on and shaped by many different people. Read this book "Islamic Science and the Making of the European Renaissance" by George Saliba. He makes an important point about historical truth that would help you.

  • @meeter yeah it is a assumption I do not deny, mind you I think it is rather low to be honest. Islamic science huh? Interesting science nearly all the scientists were PERSIAN. Also Islam is a religion, not a rcae, language nor nationality. I guess you do not read much in academic books and just coffee table books. If you like maybe you should read Eric Wolf, or study something on Iranian music and see how it shaped others, even china.

  • @devoneh "It is rather low to be honest" what does that mean? Go learn to write before you argue. But then again, one can expect little from a person who takes the name "devoneh".

  • @meeter I love the name devoneh, O I see personal attacks because you cannot do anything else... again you fail to show anything to prove us wrong. I bet you never really studied anthropology nor archaeology... you make the same stupid claims and try to attack others claiming them bias... interesting indeed!

  • @devoneh Watch this video, it has 7 parts to it. It's called "Ancient Chinese Inventions: Things Europe Never Invented" and it's on youtube. And if you still think it's made up, just look up each invention mentioned it. Otherwise, stop arguing over this because you obviously want to bolster Iran's image at the expense of others when there is no neeed to. Many civilizations had many achievements and there is not need to exaggerate one over the other, otherwise it makes you look insecure.

  • @meeter I never exaggerated anything, you are the one promoting china as if it had some how in the ancient world influenced mankind when it did not. China guards it's archaeology closely for a reason. The Gobi desert mummies and various others show they were not Chinese but indo-Europeans/Iranics. Sure the mirror and cross bow comes from China but the silk trade route went both ways.

  • @devoneh I am talking about technology and scientific innovations, not food, not drugs, not decorations. Islam is a religion? WOW, I didn't know that! The title of that book by Mr. Saliba is Islamic Science because he examines the developments during the early Islamic period. That's why he uses the term Islamic science, like you use the term "islamic migration". You obviously didn't watch that video to see the other innovations they made, because you're afraid that I'm right.

  • @meeter Actually domestication of plants and animals is very significant. Science ok what science, what innovation? Islamic science is a farce just as anyone claiming anything about Islam contributing to science as such. It is like Jews claiming the theory of relativity since Einstein was Jewish! I do not need to watch videos on thing I already deal with as an Anthropologist! I never fear being wrong, mistakes is how we develop but you are obviously to fanatical about china to see anything else!

  • @devoneh Actually, if you read (?) my posts you can see that I did not deny the contributions of others. There. You proved my point. You won't look at the evidence because you think you know everything and don't want to be proven wrong.

  • @meeter really, but you are quick to call China the mother of all civilisation and make claims to their scientific innovations to have some how influenced the world when they have been isolated and played very little role in the world itself! I guess you are no different than those who claim Iran is the greatest in the world, you claim china is. Double standard?

  • @devoneh Read your history a little more closely. I never said any country is greater, I have consistently said that from the perspective of technological innovations, China deserve a great deal of credit. Believe whatever you want Devoneh, but don't think your b.s. will go unchallenged.

  • @meeter O and then try to make personal attacks to try and make yourself important or smart!

  • @1am1ped yes hamvatan I could not say it better than you,I am proud of people like who stand tall for his culture and heritage, we will build strong army to defend our heritage and culture before been steal by Ziionist which they did it in palistine and took thier culture and land and the same zionist did it to native indian took thier land and culture and wipe out thier race, proud to be persian.

  • @TheJameszam This is not recorded in Iran you fucking bastard. Can't you see there are no filthy Hejabs? you fucking blind asshole?& Molana was actually against Islamic culture you fucking brainwashed Muslim moron. Go suck Khomeini's balls in his grave & die, & learn Persian history before you bark. Ahmaghe bi sho-our..If you love Iran, then what the fuck are you embarrassing it with your stupid comments?

  • @TheJameszam Wow. You are soooooooo STUPID!! What did your Mullahs feed you? This is Molana Not Mullah knomeini! This definitely the ultimate of stupidity I have ever seen anyone write. What did the Zionists had to do with Native Indians? LMAO
