Back from Rome 2 weeks ago. Many things to love which you mencioned on the vid, but a few things i really hated.

The street vendors, the rude people in the service industry and the mediocre food quality on most restaurants are the things i hated.

Did not have any problem with pickpockets and i walked even at night with my camera and lenses.

I found the Colosseo and the Spanish Steps my most favourite atractions. And if you have time go to see Ostia Antica (25 min by train).

went to rome in june. buy your tickets for the vatican museum online before you go. you don't need to wait in line. also i went to coliseum later in the day, no line.

Rome has been completely destroyed by graffiti! This crap is literally on 95% of the buildings there. Entire blocks are just covered with tagging. It's 100 times worse than any American city you'll ever go to! I couldn't believe that people would vandalize such a beautiful city in a demonstrative way like that.

I'm loving your vids. My family is travelling US this year but your videos make me even more eager to travel Europe which I hope to in a year or so. Have you travelled the Pacific, Asia or Australia yet?

@tessacate Was in Australia a lifetime ago :) and spent a lot of time in South America. We are heading to the America in the fall for new adventures there. Will have more US travel and South American videos for the next year. But Asia is on the travel schedule for 2012-2013. So its coming, but we have to save a bit for that one ;)

@CDKJS Well, this was our last Euro-trip for awhile. Wolters World is moving to America in August, so the travels will be North and South America based for the next few years... But we may have a few Europe travel videos here in their to keep you happy :)

I booked my trip to Rome to September (10 days) and i cant wait :)

The Roma Pass is usefull for public transportation and for the Colosseum and The Forum if you don´t want to wait in line. For the Vatican i bought my tickets online.
