llol 1. Lithuanians ran from battlefield. 2. Polish knights had better armament than Lithuanians ( they had only light inflatry end cavalry) 3. Polish knights were heavy (cavalry end inflatry)  So if there wouldn't Polish army with their armament, battle would be lost for Lithuania because Polish can to replace lithuanian inflatry light on polish light infrantry.

So Lithuania was Poland allies as Rus end Tatars. End battle was Poland, Lithuania end Rus end Tatars.

without the expansion, you can still have several units of teutonic knight cavalry, but only if the knights offer to build a tetonic headquarters in one of you cities. so, can you have them, yes, are they a faction of their own, no. Id reccomend getting the expansion, completley worth it
