How do you use it well? You have to practically move very slowly with it if you want your first (and only, in many cases) shot to hit. Sometimes it just doesn't kill with a single shot, allowing the other guy to ventilate you with his assault rifle--its it more luck than anything else?

No, I've shot quite a few people with the Colt Python in the chest, and quite a few people have simply laughed it off while filling me full of holes with their assault rifles.

Do you have to hit them somewhere specifically in the torso to guarantee a one-hit kill? I know headshots would work, but I'm not that good yet to get that every time.

Some kill in the video is in double shot too, so... There isn't a secret to kill the enemy, just practice and shot shot shot ^^

You should try playing more in the Stetchkov Syndicate expansion pack. The new Desert Eagle in that game completely outclasses the Colt Python, but at least if you master the Colt Python there, you'll be that much more skilled.

let me say... HA-HA-HA! any player can kill with a m1911, it's just another pistol, but kill with python is different ;)

Actually, when I play Pistol-only servers, lots of people either go for the Glock (for distance shooting and magazine size), the Desert Eagle (for sheer power) or the TEC-9 (for spray and pray). The M1911 is pretty difficult because it takes 2-3 shots to kill someone, and you only have 8 rounds in 4 magazines.

The Colt Python is suicide against too many opponents in close quarters in my experience. Chest shots against people in heavy armour don't always kill them either.
