@friends4eva229 I wouldn't put it in the fridge. Because one of the main ingredients is butter, it would probably congeal/harden and that would be gross. :P If you like it cold, you should probably look up a recipe that mimics the one they serve at WWoHP. There are a ton of different Butterbeer recipes online. :)
Definitely bookmarking this :) I made butterbeer (and I'm drinking it right now, actually) but I used a different recipe. I'll definitely have to try this one though :D
OMG i went to harry potter world for the opening... and it WAS AWESOME!!!!!! XD XD XD XD but your right, butterbeer shouldn't be cold :P but it was still good! :D nice recipe by the way xD
@RancidAppleProducts The cream soda needs to boil, so the stove needs to be on medium-high to high heat the whole time. That's why we recommend putting ice in it before serving. The finished product is literally boiling hot.
@HoshiHikari Heavy Whipping Cream is not the same as cool whip - it's a liquid found in the dairy section where you would buy milk or creamer for coffee. It's usually right near the half & half, and it should say "Heavy Whipping Cream."
@HoshiHikari I think 2-3 tbs would probably be equivalent to 4-5 Werther's, but as far as the taste equivalent, I'm not sure. I'd recommend starting with 2 tbs caramel or butterscotch topping, and if it's not sweet enough, they can always add more.
@animalloverclm Thats established in the video she is only making the hot butter beer because its the winter time and it can be an alternate to hot cocoa
@TH3BEAST512 i heard that she meant they only sell cold and frozen butter beer at the park which is untrue because i purchased hot butterbeer there a few weeks ago...
I wanna try it but is there something similar to cream soda? We don't have this drink in Germany but I've always wanted to make my own butterbeer and now I'm missing this damn ingredient.
a liter of cream soda, half a stick of butter, 3 tablespoons of brown sugar, 200 milliliters of cream, 5 hard candies, a few shots, and whipped cream... i'm guessing it's not a diet drink... but it's still worth it...
@Myownpickle But it's totally worth it taste wise. And as a once-in-a-while treat (like for the movie premire or just a cold night curled up with a book) it's not too big of a deal.
Thank you for uploading it, I've been looking for the recipe and can't wait to try this!!! I may have to try both warm and cold.

@AttractionsMagazine Thanks for both replies. Hmm...I hear that these recipes are often TOO sweet, so I'm a bit worried on that account.
