  • is there another option for cream soda?because i live in europe and i have no clue where to get that.PLEASE ANSWER,I'M DYING TO DO THAT

  • I love the Ravenclaw scarf.

  • 30° is cold idiot, America isn't metric

  • 30 something degrees? That'd be quite hot to me. I definitely wouldn't be wearing a scarf. (Though it's Ravenclaw so your forgiven lol)

  • Can you put it in the fridge for a while, if you like it cold? Plz answer back ASAP! Thanks! :)

  • @friends4eva229 I wouldn't put it in the fridge. Because one of the main ingredients is butter, it would probably congeal/harden and that would be gross. :P If you like it cold, you should probably look up a recipe that mimics the one they serve at WWoHP. There are a ton of different Butterbeer recipes online. :)

  • @cordyjaymes Ok thanks!

  • I still remember my first butter beer

  • This looks delicious! Thank you for your knowledge on the matter!

    Love from a Slytherin~

  • It says it warms your inside because it alcohol. 0_0

  • Is there anyway I can get the butterbeer to the color of butterscotch? like we see in Half Blood Prince?

  • RAVENCLAW!!

  • Hii!! it's sounds delicious, but I have a problem!! In Spain we don't have cream soda T.T Does anyone knows a cream soda substitute for this recipe¿?

    Please answer!!

    Thanks

  • @markkitos1993 club soda or Ginger Ale would probably work

  • cute

  • @valerieventing Use any kind of caramel or butterscotch toppings found in a supermarket near other ice cream toppers.

  • looks amazing, but my ears hurt now :')

  • Awesome recipie but why are you shouting?

  • Ravenclaw! Yeahhhhhh.

  • Brilliant!

  • ravenclaw representt!

  • Definitely bookmarking this :) I made butterbeer (and I'm drinking it right now, actually) but I used a different recipe. I'll definitely have to try this one though :D

  • OMG i went to harry potter world for the opening... and it WAS AWESOME!!!!!! XD XD XD XD but your right, butterbeer shouldn't be cold :P but it was still good! :D nice recipe by the way xD

  • I just made this tonight. I can only say it is Liquid Awesomeness.

  • Hey she a RavenCalw just like me. where wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure. GO RAVENCLAW GO!!!!!

  • recipe was dead on! great stuff!

  • how hot do u need to make the stove please answer back!!!!!! :)

  • @RancidAppleProducts The cream soda needs to boil, so the stove needs to be on medium-high to high heat the whole time. That's why we recommend putting ice in it before serving. The finished product is literally boiling hot.

  • @AttractionsMagazine

    ok thnx!!!!!

  • @RancidAppleProducts UHH! i have the same wand! its for birthdays in feb. right? cause thats what my mom bought it for, anywya..does rootbeer work?

  • Freezing cold weather? In florida? Have you ever been to england haha!

  • Is whipping cream like cool whip?

  • @HoshiHikari Heavy Whipping Cream is not the same as cool whip - it's a liquid found in the dairy section where you would buy milk or creamer for coffee. It's usually right near the half & half, and it should say "Heavy Whipping Cream."

  • Instead of werthers, how much liquid caramel topping could I use? Does two tablespoons sound good?

  • @HoshiHikari I think 2-3 tbs would probably be equivalent to 4-5 Werther's, but as far as the taste equivalent, I'm not sure. I'd recommend starting with 2 tbs caramel or butterscotch topping, and if it's not sweet enough, they can always add more.

  • @AttractionsMagazine Thanks for both replies. Hmm...I hear that these recipes are often TOO sweet, so I'm a bit worried on that account.

  • @karebear0410 actually Im sure it is mentioned that there is a small amount of alcohol in butterbeer , but it only really effects houselves, yes :)

  • they sell hot butterbeer now...

  • @animalloverclm Thats established in the video she is only making the hot butter beer because its the winter time and it can be an alternate to hot cocoa

  • @TH3BEAST512 i heard that she meant they only sell cold and frozen butter beer at the park which is untrue because i purchased hot butterbeer there a few weeks ago...

  • In the half blood prince movie, Hermione acts slightly tipsy after drinking butterbear, walking back to hogwarts from Hogsmeade.

  • @lucassummers1 Haha. Yeah. I love that bit.

  • I wanna try it but is there something similar to cream soda? We don't have this drink in Germany but I've always wanted to make my own butterbeer and now I'm missing this damn ingredient.

    It sounds so delicious!

  • @TheTripleIII Cream soda is also known as vanilla soda.

  • @karebear0410 only house elves

  • im not really sure how i feel about drinking butter

  • @americanidolbabe3 Eh, my late grandmother used to EAT sticks of butter like cheese!

  • @AttractionsMagazine or anyone else who have had it, is it caramel tasting?

  • BOOOOO Obama!

  • @TH3BEAST512 boooo you

  • @TH3BEAST512 and why don't you just shut up, i hate people who act so lowzy :P

  • Have the same scarf!

    GO RAVENCLAW!

    and I'm SOOOOO making this!!!

  • Deathly Mug JK its great!!!!

  • sounds delish

  • a liter of cream soda, half a stick of butter, 3 tablespoons of brown sugar, 200 milliliters of cream, 5 hard candies, a few shots, and whipped cream... i'm guessing it's not a diet drink... but it's still worth it...

  • @Bater8slater 1 Liter cream soda = 756 calories

    1/2 Stick of butter = 405 calories

    3 TBS brown sugar = 45 calories

    200 ml of cream = 675 calories

1 and a half shots of Butterscotch schnapps = 108 calories

Plus the candies for a rounded off total of 2000 calories for 4 servings. 500 Calories per CUP.

  • @Myownpickle But it's totally worth it taste wise. And as a once-in-a-while treat (like for the movie premire or just a cold night curled up with a book) it's not too big of a deal.

  • I hope i can buy all these things in germany..^^

  • Off to the supermarket tomorrow to get the ingredients!!!!!!!!!

  • Yummy!

  • I'm tempted to try this but I really don't like butter, so i'm not sure if i should

  • @aislingniriada1989 It tastes more like butterscotch than butter

  • Gotta try this during the holidays - Thanks Alot !!!!

  • hahahaha lol i like how she got it on the nose
