Dankeschön für diese Erinnerung an eine unglaublich tolle Verfilmung, die leider in den USA nicht gezeigt wurde. Traurig, aber dieser Film ist Kult und jede Szene einzigartig in Szene gesetzt, ich mag das Aprikosenmädchen, man glaubt die Aprikosen die sie trägt, duften zu können...einfach großartige Darsteller sogar Dustin Hofmann spielt mit als Apotheker mit - eine herrliche Rolle und er fühlte sich sehr geehrt für dieses Angebot!

Das ist doch aus dem Film "Das Parfum"! Der Film war der absolute Hammer!!! Der Film basiert auf dem gleichnamigen Roman des deutschen Schriftstellers Patrick Süskind. Bei seiner Veröffentlichung im Jahre 1985 erntete "Das Parfum" großes Lob von Kritikern und Lesepublikum. Der Roman hielt sich neun Jahre in den Bestsellerlisten und wurde bis heute 15 Millionen Mal verkauft. Der Film hat sich originalgetreu gehalten und war grandios, nicht zu letzt durch seinen hervorragenden Hauptdarsteller!!!!

uf... you got me there... :) it's well done, i enjoyed the atmosphere and acting (i like tom as a director too) but the only thing i didn't like is the narration (of course, not just in this movie but general) ... because, in my opinion, the narration in movies should be conjured by clips, by editing... uf... but that's very tough job.

:D i could go on like forever! but let's make it short - it was really good! i'm a big fan of "perfume". :)

and you know what i generally don't like? when people are making comparison of books and

movie that's based on it. movie is a separate media and it's not possible to always make a exact transfer

of fable. sometimes it needs adaptation and alteration to fit the 'screen media'. uf...!

but yes i agree. a transition such as that from a book to a movie is not something that can always be achieved considering the advantages of a book, the fact that everything is so well explained helps to invision the way it plays out. I personally love the fact that books give you a somewhat freedom to let you imagination free when reading one and understand things in your own way :)
