That was brilliant, I now regret that i didn't apply to your school. I loved how you played the flute for a bit and I thought "damn, he plays flute too?!"
But I am definitely keeping my eyes on you, I believe you will go far :)
I am curious as to what scholastic level this was performed during (high school, university, etc.). Your pronunciation and musicality were incredible, given the quality of the recording and the questionable performance locale. Excellent work--you'll go far.
First of all, thank you for watching and taking time to comment =) And thank you so much for the kind words!!
This production was put on by a summer festival called Saltnote Stageworks. The performance was supposed to be outdoor, but we got rained out on this particular date, and had to move to a nearby community center at the last minute.
That is an amazing performance, fantastic singing, very clear ,strong voice, great ensemble with orchestra, articulation and emotional content ! I was actually searching for this certain aria on youtube, and I must say yours I like the best tonight! :)
Thank you so much, cuckthefardinals! I was 20 years old here, and the production was a summer festival which was open to performers from the high school to professional level. Sorry for the lateness of my reply. Happy New Year to you!
50000 stars - great great great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know this opera well and you did such a fantastic job!!!!!!! I will send you my Magic Flute, the King of the night aria :-)
Very expressive, both voice and acting. I also liked the Bee Girl in the background--very 80s MTV--and, of course, the tornado siren going off on cue, as Tamino asks a question toward the end of the aria, added considerably to the emotional urgency.
i like your voice ,very nice,i want to contect you,and study for you~~
