I agree with Golemzzz, one of the major advantages of an Elemental is the ability to jump onto a mech, with the powerful claw to rip armour plate and servos and of course killing the pilot. During the Falcon Guard's retreat on Tukayyid, Elemental Star Commander Selima jumped on an enemy dropship and waited for the enemy to emerge, as a Highlander walked down the ramp, Selima dropped down on top of the mech and used his claw the smash the cockpit glass, grabbed the pilot's throat and squeezed.
@Hask79 You forgot to mention that during that same attack, he not only killed the Highlander, but set off an internal ammo dump which took out the entire drop ship and its relief compliment that was going to finish off the Falcon retreat.

hey me and someone were having a heated debate over Who would win in a fight, an elemental, master chief, or Felix in his scout suit from the novel"armor." Thank you.
Elemental, because they were designed to take on 'mechs in groups and are equipped with heavier weapons and armor. Master Chief is more anti-infantry based, but an Elemental isn't really the type infantry the designers had in mind when his armor was created, and he still mostly relies on small-arms. Not sure if you are referring to Gears of war or not, but Fenix will be pulling up last place as his armor leave his entire head vulnerable and still relies mostly on small-arms.
The basic problem is balancing. Looking at the currently expected number of players per server, simple infantry would quite likely end up as barely more than cannon fodder.
It would probably enforce alot of thought into gameplay though... Enforce alot of teamwork aswell so that the "cannon fodder" stood a chance against a merc... my $0.02
pretty nice. notice some gaps between the torso and the legs while running. the weapon switching, although not ever done in MW or BT, is an understandable necessity as this is a mod from Crysis.
I like how the laser use to look, not very BT but very amusing looking

Reminds me of tribes.... Personally I'd much rather a conventional infintary.. and have these exo-skeletons as an unlock.... But i'm happy either way
