Saw Nola Rae in the 80's as a young lad when my father was the set designer at a theatre. She entered through the auditoruim with inflated washing up gloves on her feet. Still the only time I have laughed through an evening until it hurt. One of the great comic talents of our time, mime or no mime and a huge inspiration to others I am sure. Go see her. Film does her no justice.
