  • LOVE IT!

  • Van Halen... and then he's malmsteen.... I have no words.

  • Lulz...these guys are stuck in the 80's and it's great

  • was som classic yngwie malmsteen

  • Absolutely awesome!!!

What's the lick in between The Trooper and Master of Puppets from? Or is it an improv?

  • @WeeblBull trilogy suite by yngwie

  • @djentlekat Cheers :)

  • the best solo EVER!

  • Spinal tap meets douchebag. This guy's spent too much time looking at himself in the mirror.

  • @slmccabe while you have spent too much time being an idiot

  • Was that flight of the bumblebees? That glorious motherfucker

  • Wonder how many hours he spent watching Nuno Bettencourt and Paul Gilbert...

  • Beyond Epic.

  • Edward Van halen is satchels main guitar influence.

  • What's the name of that song 4:44? Judas Priest maybe?

  • @simoblkhole breaking the law

  • Guys top comparing him to God.

I mean hes good and all but he aint no Satchel

  • evh wannabe

  • Very entertaining!!!!!!!

  • His tone is amazing perfect setting and amp.Could he play any more cleaner.

  • Seeing these epic fuckers in March! Can't wait!!!

  • @MasteredMitch German? ;D

  • @SvenjaSuperstar England! ; )

  • @MasteredMitch where at? I could look it up but I'm watching Steel Panther videos.

  • @groundloop07 O2 Academy. Brixton! ; )

  • @MasteredMitch Where you from ???

  • hahahahaha fingering signs from 1:30 - 1:50

  • OMG, so funny. These guys are a riot. Every single awful '80s rock cliche played up for intense humor. The Spinal Tap of '80s metal. Satchel is the "classically influenced" "guitar hero" that was part of every '80s metal band.

  • THE SHOCKER!!!!!

  • all this has been done 1000s and 1000s of times

  • haha, that was entertaining as hell

  • 5:03 what's the song?

  • @yoututeddy Malmsteen's "Trilogy suite Op. 5"

  • @bobossbpk thanks man!

  • @yoututeddy Trilogy Suite Op. 5 - Malmsteen

  • I bet there are girls watching this vid like omg i wish he was my bf he'd be perfect for oral......lol satchel your fucking amazing bro keep on a rocking

  • Malmsteen tone lol fucking love Satchel!!!!!

  • He sounds incredible! fantastic top end.

  • He plays teh guitar better than Sister Gays AND play the drum better than uh... Whoever that dead guy was from GAY7X AT THE SAME TIME. :D

  • @xTheWorldNeedsAHerox if you have no respect for someone who is dead, then no one should have respect for you. The Rev was a great drummer, A7X is a great band, maybe they don't fit your musical tastes but that doesn't mean you have to bash them and a dead guy

  • They ripped off Death after Chuck Schuldiner died. The drummer got the first of the sell-out worthless piece of talentless shit karma, so what? Sister Gays has never been able to leave the chromatic scale when playing guitar. Anyone can be fast when only playing one guitar scale, the fucking EASIEST guitar scale in existence. What noobs use to make themselves feel faster and better than they are. XD I piss on the talentless dead guy's grave. My toilet is made of unoriginal mediocrity. :D

  • @xTheWorldNeedsAHerox If you haven't noticed Synester Gates doesn't play chromatics you fucking moron he plays a mix of many different types of scales in his licks and solos, if it was chromatic then you would see him going up and down the neck on one string, chromatic is used in jazz, so you are saying jazz players are horrible players cause they use the worlds easiest scale. Lets see you play anything close the gates. Oh and FUCK YOU you wish you could play close to anything A7X plays

  • @MrJustin78f The chromatic scale is on every string, moron. And it's the only scale that talentless wemo faggot can use. Chuck Schuldiner's remaining family members should sue those talentless unoriginal hacks, or Shannon Hamm should. Like when Joe Satriani sued Coldplay for stealing his shit. XD Alex Skolnick is a jazz player, and someone I know personally. And well, I'm calling your bullshit. And Rusty Cooley is a Jazz Instructor, and never utilizes only chromatic. (Cont.)

  • @xTheWorldNeedsAHerox Lol, way to fail at trolling. Syn doesn not suck and you know it. You just hate on their drummer and music to make yourself seem cool and 'better' than everyone who happens to like the music. Guess what? Music quality is almost all opinion-based. If somebody likes something, then it is good. Oh, by the way, nice screen-name. Trying to sound like a badass with a quote that you didn't say, nor applies to you? It's totally working, dude :P

  • @JesusOfPaign It's the name of a Megadeth album, not a quote you musically illiterate fail troll. With Al Pitrelli, guitar shred teacher and genius. He does suck, and that's just a basic fact of life. And I hate who? Insignificance? I piss on his grave, ergo my toilet is made of mediocrity?

  • 1:20 ....... light speed tongue action :o

  • i love steel panther always blast them on my headphones at work. they Fucking RULE! I know thier having a laugh and even poking fun. but they wouldnt of spent all the years of prcatise to get to that level of musicianship and be able to play like that if they really didnt like the music that they play. OF course they like metal just like we do thier just having FUN!

  • So call me dumb, but what is the riff during 5:15-5:33 I really want to know.

  • @Bikerman24 Master of the Puppets by Metallica.

  • @damnthoseagelimits *Master Of Puppets

  • @Bikerman24 Look up some Yngwie Malmsteen arpeggio videos.. It's in one of them. Not totally sure which one

  • @Bikerman24 Master of Puppets

  • eruption - eddy v halen

  • Their behind the music they made fun of Guns N Roses. Then he plays Sweet Child o'Mine here... Is it not the ultimate insult to play what you make fun of?

  • @xTheWorldNeedsAHerox im sure guns n roses and all the other bands these guys poke fun at are totally fine with it. they probably influenced steel panther's music and each of their lives, so they probably do look up to them, but it's just way too easy to make fun of them XD

  • @AmonOfTheSahelijos Satchel's mockery of James Hetfield was genius.

  • @xTheWorldNeedsAHerox considering a lot of the musicians who theyre poking fun at go to their shows, i think its ok. its all in good fun. it may be a comedy act, but they really are keeping the spirit of metal a live. after all, its about having a bitchin time!

  • @Butterpants1987 It's about not deceiving people and not conforming as well. I dislike Guns N Roses. And shitty wemomallcore sell-out bands like GAY7X. To quote the song As I Am by Dream Theater, "Don't tell me what's *in*." THAT is what truly keeps the spirit of real metal alive.

  • @xTheWorldNeedsAHerox i never bought that conforming shit. if what everybody else is doing is natural for you, then do it. if its not, then do something else. music is about having fun. and i dont see how A7X sold out. they wanted to play music their way and theyre doing it. can you name another band they sound like? no, you cant. dont know why you dislike GnR since they didnt conform, they actually did the opposite everybody else did. you just sound like somebody trying too hard to fit in.

  • @Butterpants1987 I can name specific lyrics, specific riffs, and specific music that they ripped off from several other bands. The same way Metallica sold out. Dave Mustaine pointed out in his autobiography. Metallica stealing the riffs of underground bands. They keep changing their music to please whoever might lessons, but the shitty, talentless guitarists can't change by getting past the chromatic scale. Incapable of any TASTEFUL sweeps like a D Minor 9 Sweep Tap for example. STRETCHING...

  • @xTheWorldNeedsAHerox mhmmmm, sure kid...

  • Nightmare's melody was a direct rip-off from Burn In Hell by Judas Priest. Though, Tipton's wide-stretch exotic sweeps and originality made Burn In Hell much more interesting. Unholy Confessions, direct rip-off from Spirit Crusher by Death. M.I.A.'s lyrics... Tell me they aren't remotely similar to The Trooper? Seize The Day, a shittier November Rain. The entire Buried Alive solo is basically Bite The Hand by Megadeth ripped off into a GAY7X song, using ONLY chromatic. I could go on forever...

  • @xTheWorldNeedsAHerox btw, the chromatic scale consists of every note on the fretboard. therefore, any time you play any of those notes you are playing in the chromatic scale. i think you mean any of the diatonic scales. its funny how you hate 'fake metal' yet youre too fake to even take the time to learn basic terminology and theory.

  • @Butterpants1987 The chromatic scale consists of every note on the fret board in succession. Please learn your basics, then get back to me. Cheers.

  • @xTheWorldNeedsAHerox uh not quite. while yes, playing the notes in succession is referred to as playing chromatically, no matter whta youre playing youre within the chromatic scale. for example, playing the major pentatonic youre actually just playing within the major scale. stop being stupid and hating on everything because you think thats what makes you cool.
