  • Do the guys at Paradox ever take a break? They must really love their jobs. If only more developers were like this.

  • When I saw what requirements this game has (I haven't bought it yet) I was like WTF? It needs a video card with 256 MB memory!!! From this gameplay trailer it doesn't seem to have graphics that need 256 MB VRAM.

  • is this game worth buying please?:)

  • @lokna (I know you wrote that 5 months ago, but still) Well, it depends. Someone like me, would buy it in an instant, but someone like my brother would find it boring and stupid. I'd say it depends on what type of games you normally play.

  • someone pls tell me where the "gameplay" is

  • @unurautare The gameplay is in incredibly complex strategy and resource management.. all in menus.. you know like a REAL strategy game.. not stupid RTS lameness with all GFX and no soul. These guys and EU are just so complex and awesome.... you should try it. Strategy First man!!

  • @mmogamevidz I was talking about the video itself,it only shows snapshots, not how a person really plays the game...I do like real strategies,so far I prefer Europa Universalis series,I think it's the best

  • @unurautare In every historical game my first goal is to destroy the Romanian states. My friend you are welcome.

  • @Tdhun Main thing is that we like strategies and don't care about gfx, true nolifes, cheers bud. :)

  • @mmogamevidz I agree, I loved the strategy in EU games. Perfect. The only thing I got against it is I wish it had more total war like style combat. The ability to control troops would be awesome. The one thing Total War lack is what EU has and what EU lack is what Total War has..

  • @KillSwitchOnSteriods Well spoken sir!

  • @KillSwitchOnSteriods Now if only Paradox and CA got together to combine the great in-depth battles of Total War and the Grand Strategy of Paradox games - It would truely be the game of the ages!

  • @KillSwitchOnSteriods

Total war is pretty unrealistic though..it's more of what I would call "arcade strategy" if you know what I mean.

  • @refuckulate420 If you mean the weak AI being completely predictable then I agree with you. That unfortunately is a problem with the Total War Series.

Though fighting and praying that your general will win based on some stats is also a crummy setup. Paradoxplaza should find a way to allow more interaction and control in battles.

In my opinion this game would own total war if it had better battle system.

  • @KillSwitchOnSteriods

If you've ever played Crown of Glory they have a very nice strategic and tactical map, something similar to that would be great here. I really don't like Total War anymore...they aren't deep enough strategy and the tactical part of it is fun, but a lot of it is unrealistic, thus the "arcadish" feel.

  • @refuckulate420 Dude, absolutely. I had the exact same transformation in taste. I started with the total war series, from M:TW, but once I discovered Paradox games I began to adopt the exact sentiments you described.

  • do a game about the 1848 revolutions ,I want to crush the hungarians :<

  • @orionmme So easy that you just have to play with the music.ini fiile and change the music in there.

  • Is this actual music from the game?

  • @comtedemeighan I doubt it's the music you'll be hearing in the game, sounds a bit too 'trailerish' to me

  • What about 25 to life? Or the Rise of Ethiopia? Would you prefer those?

  • 25 to life was WHACK. good story bad gameplay.

  • Very cool. I've had my on this game for a while now; am very interested to see how it turns out!

  • Looks good :)
