  • FANTASTIC QUALITY!

  • Nothing beats the original British millionaire with Tarrant

  • James Rolfe would have loved the Cushing question.

  • @bastardwithnoname was thinking id be phoning him as a friend if i got this question

  • This is the definition of pure good luck.

  • I believe he is the last player in the UK to reach £250,000

  • I rang a woman today and said, "How big are your tits? What underwear are you wearing"

Chris Tarrant said, "If you could just ask her the £1000 question, Pete"

  • "There is no time limit on Millionarire"

There is now... and it's rubbish!

  • Chris sat on my mum's lap on Saturday.

  • @xxxHSMgalxxx I'm sure he's sat on many laps... especially when he was married.

  • @Arora13 LOL.

  • Wouldn't it be better to enter the One we have here in England? Since the Pound is worth more than a dollar?

  • @ohgoditsjames94 I'd imagine that's what the japanese say. 1 million yen = under £8,000

  • As an American who appreciates high-quality television, I've gotta say, I really enjoy the British "Millionaire" in its entirety, having still been on the air, virtually unchanged, for as long as it has. I've heard a rumor that the civilian version of "Millionaire" has been cancelled, and that only celebrity episodes will be produced from now on. It's just a rumor, but still...

  • @colBoh don't they have the clock format now?

  • @farvin111 Yes, but it's still going to be cancelled due to disappointing ratings.

  • @farvin111: That's why I said *virtually* unchanged. I believe the clock format was only instituted recently.

  • @colBoh You're right, in the UK the clock format has only been used since August 2010.

  • Why didn't US ever use Widescreen for this show?

  • @mmucougar The majority of UK shows have been made in widescreen for nearly a decade. In the US, widescreen has only emerged since HD became popular so if it isn't broadcast in HD, it almost certainly wouldn't be widescreen.

  • @DragonQ Who Wants to be a Millionaire England has been using widescreen since 1999. And how can UK use Widescreen view if it's not even High Definition? HD didn't exist for a lot of the 13 years Millionaire UK has been on the air. Someone should persuade Michael Davies (The Producer of Who Wants to be a Millionaire in the United States) to start airing the show in HD and Widescreen.

  • @mmucougar HD and widescreen are different things, it just so happens that HD as a format is always widescreen. Standard definition widescreen was standard for digital formats (cable, satellite, Freeview) in the UK until HD took hold. Almost all DVDs (including films) are widescreen, almost all new TV shows in the last decade were made and broadcast in widescreen, etc.

  • the quality is amazing.

    LIKE

  • wow the quality of this is really good and thanx for the upload

  • @XxsiananxX

    No problem

  • this is almost better quality that on my TV lol jkin

  • Yeah... Good...

  • @nifeeshah: They're not all bad you know

  • Ahhhh I knew it was Peter Cushing!

  • Haha! I would have guessed jigsaw! But of course I never would have made it that far.

  • There's also higher turnover because the American contestants always leave with very little; they need smarter ones.

  • to smutne że nawet nasze pseudo-polskie komercyjne media nie umieją nic własnego wymyślić i muszą kupować pomysły zza granicy ... żałosne

  • Też taki dziwny ten gościu jak nasz Polski Hubert ;)

  • Rzeczywiście.

    Tak samo trzepie nogami :)

  • I liked him! I thought he played brilliantly! I would love to see his full run!

  • yes i got it it right at guestion 14 answer is b

  • how much dollars are in 1 pound????????????

  • 1 British pound = 1.4546 U.S. dollars

  • @Grumphuttock its gone up to 1.56 in 1 year :O

  • @Grumphuttock 1 British pound = 1.5662 U.S dollars , looks like the dollars decreased in value more than the pound in the last two years then.

  • @Grumphuttock Yeah, but they get taxed on their winnings. We don't. There is should be 'Who Wants To Be Taxed As A Millionaire?"
