its not that scots cant say burglar alarm,its just that we havent studied english accents or pronouncuation,and a little too do with how the mind works when brought up in certain cultures,i tried this and realised that that was the problem,scots emphasise every letter,specially "r",take that away-english>berg-leh(or luh)>alahm(silent r) and scottish-burg>lur>alarum-notic­e change in not just emphasis,but also in cultural accentuation,and the silence of "r",im glaswegian,and i can say it now :)
