HOW ROMANTIC!!! (in it's own unique way of course). Romantically persistant guys like Bill always make me laugh/smile. They don't take "no" very easily; a lady can brush them off over and over again, and they still come back for more. They might as well just say "Baby, you can run but you can't hide, I'm always gonna be chasin' after you, I don't care if you go to confession. . .it's gonna be me, you and the priest!" X-D
It's annoying but cute at the same time, I love it! ^_^
omg legacy!!! I liked this show, used to come on the WB or UPN...they filmed it in charlottesville and i actually saw these two at VA Center commons movie theatre in richmond va!!
I've been trying to get a copy of this. I was on the set during the restaurant scene. Debbie Allen had on this cute little jean outfit and a coon skinned hat. We later kicked it at the wrap party that January of 92. Dawn Lewis wasn't there though.
They couldnt marry because it was against the law! In case you didnt know and dont know firsthand being black in this country is hard to deal with especially coming up against the likes of people like you. Quick to judge. Quick to appear to be morally superior and at the same time fall so short of God's glory. And for the record dont you dare disrespect me and my family by casting your narrow minded judgment and opinion on us! You should be ashamed for even posting such boorish comments.
Well quiet as it is kept....my aunt who is frofm that generation (born 1917) dated a prominent Italian man in her town and he was enamored by her.....his family threatened to to cut him off from his "inheritance" if he kept on "dating" her.....needless to say he did...secretly until she died in 1989. It was a known fact and it happens in many towns and with other races....I just love it!
That's a cute story, but if that prominent Italian was any kind of man and if your aunt was any kind of woman, they wouldn't have been secretly dating. They'd have been publicly MARRIED.
indeed, Stompin' is just one of those rare classics that become the subject of ongoing convo...it had a great cast, and featured Debbie Allen as costar, director, producer, and choreographer. The girl is bad!
I saw some of this movie a while ago and wasn't able to see the end. I love the interracial love story! Unfortunately, the movie can't be rented nor purchased because it was never publically released. Thank you for posting these love story movie clips! I'll keep watching them over and over! :)
